Good morning,
Peace seekers.
Are you struggling to get more peace in your life?
Where does peace come from and how do we get more peace?
When we try to control all outcomes,
Seek validation from others,
Or try to control what others think of us,
We are never at peace.
Peace comes only when we give up control and allow God to do what he does best.
Stop trying to do God's job.
Look to him for the peace he gives.
This is where the saying,
Let go and let God,
Comes from.
We relinquish control we never had and trust God who gives peace freely to those who ask.
My peace I leave with you.
My peace I give to you.
Not as the world gives,
Do I give to you.
Let not your heart be troubled,
Neither let it be afraid.
John 14 27.
This peace of God which surpasses all understanding is to guard our hearts and minds.
Philippians 4-7.
Peace is a fruit of the Spirit,
In Galatians 5.
22.
Peacemaking is a beatitude.
Matthew 5,
9.
And Isaiah 26.
3 says,
You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on you,
Because he trusts in you.
Do you see where our minds are to stay?
On God.
And then we receive perfect peace.
Not so-so halfway piece.
Perfect peace.
If you're not peaceful,
You've not been guarding your mind by focusing elsewhere besides God.
So today I offer you this blessing to carry with you.
The Lord bless you and keep you.
The Lord make his face to shine upon you and to be gracious to you.
The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
Numbers 624 to 26.
