Welcome.

This is your host,

Marianne Pack,

Spiritual medium,

Author,

And joyologist.

This reading is entitled,

Just Stop Thinking About It.

You know how it is.

The more we think about something we really want,

The more we notice it's not showing up.

We've been taught to hold to that vision,

Dream,

Or thing tenaciously.

Think about it all the time we're taught.

Focus our unwavering attention on it so the universe will bring it to us.

Focusing on what we want is a good thing,

Right?

We're sending out the energy of what we want and the universe is supposed to yield it to us,

Right?

Well,

Almost.

That would be perfect if we could offer a pure positive vibration of what we want.

Unfortunately,

Humans are not good at holding pure positive thoughts about anything for very long.

Our minds begin to wander around and notice what is.

You know how it goes.

You start thinking about really good feeling thoughts about what you want and you start with general good feeling words and then,

As you feel more stable,

You venture into some details about what you want.

Then a flash thought about it not being there pops up or how long it's taking and you've been waiting for so long,

So friggin long.

You just want this thing now.

Oops,

You just threw some rocks on your path.

You just split your energy by diverting your thoughts to the lack or absence of it and got off track.

Your pure thought pattern just got muddled a little bit.

You're not to blame.

You're human and can't help seeing what's right in front of you or more so what's not right in front of you of what you want.

So what can you do?

Stop thinking about it.

Oh please,

I can't stop thinking about it.

It's too important to me.

I thought this was a great quote from Abraham Hicks that crossed my path.

The only way I can stop contradicting my own desire is to stop thinking about it.

This is so friggin true.

It seems I can never really hold pure positive thoughts about anything for very long before I let some contradiction about my desire pop into my head.

I'll be clipping along thinking good feeling thoughts about my desire and that little shit of a doubt thought or lack sneaks in and I feel my energy drop.

I just contradicted my desire.

I think I have to clean up my vibration so I start over with more general emotional words and take the condition out of my thoughts to regain my higher vibration.

But sometimes it just makes it worse.

I get frustrated and that's a sure sign of efforting on my part.

Once you offer a preference for something you desire,

You never have to think about it again.

Say what?

That goes against everything the gurus tell me.

I'm supposed to focus strongly on what I want to make it come to me and if I don't think about it I surely won't get it.

I might even forget I had that desire.

The universe will never forget what you desire.

Even if you forget some of the details of things you desire,

Your inner being is all over it.

Nothing gets lost in your vortex and no one can reach in and grab your stuff.

Every bit of every desire you ever chose has your vibrational signature or vibrational DNA.

So just because you see someone getting something that looks like what you wanted,

They didn't steal it from your vibrational pile of goodies.

What they have is not exactly identical to what's in your vortex.

So how can you rest assured your stuff won't get lost,

Forgotten,

Or stolen out of your vortex of creation?

It's safely tended to by your inner being and everything has gathered to make it a reality.

It's ready.

Where are you?

You're over there contradicting your thoughts about your desire again.

Ugh,

I find myself there so often too.

So I'm talking to myself first and foremost y'all.

Abraham suggested that we stop thinking about it so we don't throw that contradicted energy toward it and block it.

Yet that's really difficult.

How do we just stop thinking about something that we really want?

As soon as you think,

Well,

I'll just stop thinking about that thing I want,

You're thinking about it again.

Here are four ways to deal with this.

Number one,

Stop thinking about it by changing the subject.

Distraction is the best medicine.

Make sure you're distracting yourself with something pleasing.

The goal is to raise your vibration to ensure you align with that desire,

Which resides on a high vibrational frequency inside your vortex.

Choose a subject that is easy to feel good about.

It would be even better if the subject made you laugh.

Number two,

Stop thinking about it by meditating.

A quiet mind meditation is a practice of focusing on something that is not very interesting,

Like your breathing or the whirring of a fan,

The drip of a faucet or the like.

That slows down your thoughts,

Sometimes to a stop.

As you slow down your thoughts,

You're also slowing down your resistant thoughts.

Those little contradictory bugaboos push away what you want.

Meditation is a receiving mode practice that aligns you with all the good stuff in your vortex.

Number three,

Take a nap or go to bed if it's bedtime.

While you sleep,

All momentum stops,

So you're not interfering with your desires.

If your dreams don't feel good,

That's an indication you've got some resistance going on during your waking hours.

This is your opportunity to notice how you're feeling more often during the day and see where you need to clean up your thought or belief energy.

Before you fall asleep,

Focus on a few things you appreciate or feel satisfied with and set the intention to wake up happy and joyful.

You wake up in the energy where you left it before falling asleep.

Make it feel really good.

And number four,

Do something that brings you pleasure.

That could be walking in nature or noticing all the beauty surrounding you,

Petting your furry friend,

Taking a relaxing or an invigorating shower,

Crafting something fun,

Listening to uplifting music,

Singing,

Dancing a jig.

These tips will help you stop thinking so much about your desires,

Especially if you struggle to keep your vibrational thoughts positive.

Do anything you can to distract you while your desires are in the vibrational process of becoming.

I hope this helps you find more ways to allow your desires to be realized.

Be easy about it.

Don't ever fuss or beat yourself up for not being able to keep your thoughts positive all the time.

That simply won't happen.

If you were perfect at this,

You would not need to exist in this delightful physical realm.

Life is always about asking for more and we wouldn't want more if life was everything we desired in every moment.

We must have that little contrast and contradiction to know how good the good stuff feels.
