This reading is entitled,
Abundance Takes Many Forms.
What do you think when you hear the word abundance?
Did you immediately think of tons and tons of money?
Did you feel a twinge of not enoughness,
Maybe even jealousy or envy?
Maybe you scoffed under your breath as if abundance is a farce.
It's for other people,
But not you.
I get it.
We can see it all around us,
But we feel like we're not experiencing it ourselves.
It feels that it's always just out of our reach.
Abundance is one of those crazy words that we pigeonhole as if it applies only to money,
Because that's the first thing that pops into our minds.
Yet,
Abundance comes in many forms.
Looking back at a journal entry I made years ago,
When I felt good and wanted to conjure more feelings of abundance,
I wrote in bold in the center of the page,
Abundance Takes Many Forms.
Around those words,
I wrote words like excitement,
Porch sitting,
Laughter,
Nature,
Good deals,
Love,
Relaxing,
Clarity,
Happiness,
Adventure,
Beauty,
Vehicles,
Perfect timing,
Exhilaration,
And many more to describe how abundance felt to me.
Had I just won the lottery?
Nope.
Was I rolling around in piles of money?
Nope.
What I was doing was practicing the feeling of being abundant,
Which created the vibrational environment for receiving all kinds of abundance,
Including piles of money.
I was acknowledging all the ways abundance shows itself to me.
I was appreciating that there was so much more to abundance than my old thought patterns allowed,
As I used to believe it only pertained to money.
There are so many forms of abundance.
We overlook so much abundance all around us.
We take for granted the abundance of our well-being.
We often overlook abundance staring us in the face by preferring to complain and bemoan that we don't have our specific type of abundance,
Money.
Any and all complaining will simply attract more things to complain about.
Eventually,
It can even show up in our body as diminished health.
Complaining about not having abundance will certainly hold it away from you.
You may think you're focusing on wanting abundance,
But you're actually thinking about the lack of it.
Criticizing others with abundance or being jealous or judgmental is a surefire way to hold abundance away from you.
You could be repeating the most wonderful affirmations,
Yet your real vibrational point of attraction is the lack of abundance.
It's what's missing.
This causes your energy to split,
So you will get some of what you want and some you don't.
The universe is feeling the affirmation all right,
But it's how you really feel,
Not what you're saying.
When we practice what abundance feels like,
We open ourselves up to the universe,
Which is feeling our singular energetic message,
And we will begin yielding more things that make us feel abundant.
Remember,
We live in a vibrational world.
Our messages and points of attraction are via our vibrational offering around our thoughts and emotions.
If you can't feel abundant,
You won't attract abundance.
If you're having trouble feeling abundant about money because you have too much negative momentum,
Change the subject.
Take money out of the equation.
You don't have to feel abundant about money to attract money.
You simply have to practice the feeling of abundance on any other subject.
The feeling of abundance is the same across the board.
The universe doesn't distinguish any difference between the feeling of money abundance versus health abundance versus relationship abundance.
Abundance is abundance.
It's a vibration,
Not a thing.
The only thing that holds any abundance out of our reach is our resistance,
Doubt,
Or focus on the lack of abundance.
We may be noticing our abundance is missing.
We're taking score too soon.
Where is it?
Why isn't it here?
I've wanted abundance for so long.
We're looking at what we call our current reality.
In fact,
What has already manifested in our lives is old news.
It's what we created from previous dominant thoughts and feelings.
So how do you practice this feeling of abundance?
You practice the feeling of abundance by appreciating the many forms of abundance.
Acknowledging and appreciating the abundance of nature.
Is a great place to start as we usually don't have resistance to nature.
The abundance of fresh air,
Sunshine,
Open skies,
Trees,
Birds,
Animals,
Blades of grass,
Leaves on the trees,
Types of shrubs and flowers,
And the foods it provides.
Means that our planet is hanging in the perfect place in the galaxy to sustain life.
What about the abundance of your health?
Appreciate all the processes you don't have to micromanage in your body.
Oh my hell,
Can you even imagine if we had to take the time to manage all of our digestion,
Nervous system,
Immune system,
Lymphatic system,
Hormone production,
Heart beating,
Breathing,
Bone building,
And communication systems between our brain and all the organs?
Now there's some abundance of well-being that I want to appreciate.
Even if you have an area of your health that is not working well,
Focus on all the other functions of your body that is working well.
Here's an example.
I used to have terrible digestion.
I began appreciating my body and actually whispering to my body,
Whom I consider my partner in this life,
How much I appreciated its eliminating.
I thank my body for going poo.
And much of my digestion and elimination have improved greatly.
Do you have friends or family that love you?
Do you have a wonderful partner?
We cherish an abundance of relationships.
There's got to be an abundance of things to appreciate about them.
They are heartwarming,
Loving,
Tender,
Fun,
Exciting,
Playful,
Rich.
You get the idea.
Do you have a job or business,
A roof over your head,
A warm shower in the morning,
A cozy bed with clean linens and fluffy pillows,
Conditioned air,
Heating and cooling,
Running water,
Electricity to power your appliances and devices,
And food in your tummy?
Do you have a vehicle and good roads to drive on that you didn't have to design and build?
These are signs of abundance too.
I often lie in bed and go through my appreciation list of abundance before I go to sleep or even while driving.
It's a great time to whisper my list of abundance to myself and really feel my abundance.
Even if all these things could be improved,
Appreciate something about a host of things you already possess.
You must appreciate what you have before you can have anything better.
Maybe you have an abundance of good feelings because you are practicing by making feeling good your number one priority.
Abundance is clarity,
Joy,
Happiness,
Peace,
Adventure,
Excitement,
Fun,
Playfulness,
Interest,
Eagerness,
Satisfaction,
Enthusiasm,
Exhilaration,
And passion.
The list can go on and on.
These emotions and states of being are the essence of abundance.
I'd encourage you to write a journal entry acknowledging and appreciating all forms of abundance,
Not just money.
If you really get into it with heightened emotions about the words you're writing down,
You will truly feel abundant by the end of this journal exercise.
