Tonight we listen to chapter two of Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel. In this episode, narrator Nick Carraway goes to New York with Tom Buchanan and his lover, Myrtle Wilson. They spend an afternoon at Myrtle's apartment, where Nick meets Myrtle's sister and neighbors. The writing is pin-sharp and laced with dark humor.

I've never wanted to read The Great Gatsby. I thought for some reason it wouldn't interest me. I'm so glad now after listening to some of your other stories that I decided to give it a go. I love the characters and the writing. So intricate, detailed and fascinating. I'm looking forward to Chapter 3. My only criticism would be the background music. It's a little distracting at times. Other than that it's perfect. Thank you ❤️
