Elizabeth And Her German Garden, By E. Von Arnim, Chapter 3
by Mandy Sutter
If you enjoyed The Enchanted April, now's the chance to listen to Elizabeth Von Arnim's famous and beautifully written memoir about her garden in Germany. In tonight's chapter, we learn that some of the locals see Elizabeth as so lonely and pitiable for being 'buried' up at the isolated house all winter on her own, that she may at any moment run off with someone unsuitable. Elizabeth of course sees things very differently! Please also find The Enchanted April narrated by me on Free Tracks.
