Amanda Dixon

Amanda been practicing mindfulness meditation for over ten years. She has practiced with her local Shambhala, Insight, and Plum Village communities, attending retreats and helping keep the communities active. She has led mindfulness practice with adolescents and adults for the past five years. She has training in leading mindfulness through Mindful Schools’ curriculum training. She has also participated in Mindfulness in Nashville Education, a group of educators and parents advocating for mindfulness in her hometown. Her practice borrows from many traditions and modalities and she strives to offer a space where each technique is an offering, nothing is required, and where she invites you to join her in discovering and developing your own, unique practice that supports well-being. Amanda is a STEM educator married to a touring musician with two school age children and an energetic dog. In addition to meditation, she enjoys spending time in nature, cooking, and traveling.
