Hello and welcome to your practice.
Today we will be doing a few techniques to help ground,
To help relax your nervous system and settle your energy.
To start you might like to create a sacred space or just make this feel a little special by lighting a candle or an incense.
Feel free to pause this recording and create a space that feels sacred and special to you.
You might even practice by your altar if that's something that you use.
Once you feel ready you might like to sit or lay down.
Feel free to invite any sort of supportive pillows or blankets so that you can feel completely at ease.
Finding this shape and feel free to wiggle and move as you like to help yourself land in a comfortable shape.
You might check in with your neck.
You might open up your collarbones or wiggle your feet and toes making circles with your wrists and ankles.
Then finding a comfortable place to be.
To begin we'll take ten breaths with each exhale letting out some sort of sound that feels natural and easy.
You might hum or you might even sigh.
This can be audible or not.
Any tone or frequency that serves you where you're at in this moment.
Taking a deep inhale finding your own sound as you exhale.
Inviting whatever comes naturally.
A depth of breath that feels accessible.
In this moment,
I'll take five more.
You can shake your jaw loose,
Make some funny faces.
Relaxing your face muscles.
We'll take this last breath very deeply down to your pelvic floor,
Down to your toes as you inhale.
Holding at the top,
Maybe inhale just a little bit more.
And let it go.
Taking a moment to notice any shifts.
Notice how you feel.
Noticing if there's still any residual tension.
Inviting some softness,
But also knowing that that's okay.
Just continuing to scan and check in with your neck.
Also knowing that that's okay.

Maybe with your senses.
Feeling your clothes on your body.
Noticing the shape,
The position of your body and the places that it is held and supported by a chair,
By props,
Pillows.
We'll invite a seed sound or tone that will open and activate our root chakra.
This energetic center that helps us to feel grounded,
That helps us to root into Mother Earth and into our energetic womb space where we can be creative,
Feel safe and held.
And this is regardless of your gender identity.
You can find this rooted sense of security using the sound LUM or UH.
And this can be to whatever frequency,
Whatever expression feels natural to you in this moment and feels easeful.
So nothing where you have to push.
And we'll do one of these sounds,
LUM or UH.
Eleven times.

And we'll start by taking a deep breath in and out together.
Inhaling naturally and exhaling fully through your nose or mouth.
Taking this next deep inhale and experimenting with LUM or UH.

Exhaling to let it flow down the back of your spine down into the earth.
Continuing with this visualization on your own.
Inviting your own natural breathing pattern to inspire this movement of energy.
Inhaling to take this energy from the back of your eyes to the back of your head.
And exhaling to release this energy or light down your back.
Exhaling and bringing this energy down your back,
Down your legs,
Into the earth.
You can continue doing this as long as feels good for you.
