Hello my friend.

If you are joining me here it is because it is your birthday and if it's not your birthday you're very welcome to join us but this meditation is given with the intention of welcoming your solar return.

That is an astrological event where we get the expression many happy returns from and it is the moment that happens once a year around your birthday where the sun returns to the exact degree in the sky as it was the moment you were born.

So when you look at your birth chart and you add the transits on your birthday you will see the sun perfectly in line with where it was when you were born.

Now the sun in astrology is your soul's expression in this lifetime.

It's what you've come here to express.

So by having the sun shine its light again on that moment it's often why we feel quite reflective around our birthdays.

It's often why we can assess where we're at,

What we want,

What do we want from the year ahead,

What are we doing with our lives.

You know it's a question that comes up a lot around birthdays.

What am I doing with my life?

Said in all different intimations.

What am I doing with my life?

What am I doing with my life?

It can be asked in so many ways.

Do you know what your soul's purpose is?

Do you know what you're doing?

Do you have clarity for the year ahead?

I invite you during these two or three days where that energy is so present to ask these questions.

What are you doing with your life?

What have you come here to do?

And to ask them in a joyful way with pure curiosity.

You know sometimes it's nice to step back and say well okay what am I doing with my life?

There is an argument that we have watered down this feeling,

You know we've made it sound as if anything is possible.

You can be anything and actually there's a question in astrology where well can you,

Should you be anything or should you really hone in on what it is you've come to do in this one lifetime.

Just this one lifetime,

A tiny moment in the history of the universe and you're here.

What have you come here for?

It's an exciting question when we release judgement and when we release any attachment to the answer.

And so all of that simply to say happy birthday and for the next few moments let's celebrate you.

Let's bring some joy to your day.

Everyone can feel differently on their birthdays and so it's not to presume that you are joyful but just to offer that energy if you need a reminder that it's possible.

And I am personally so grateful that you are here and I'm so happy that you're alive.

And I invite you to take both of your hands and place them now over your heart.

And we're going together to take the deepest breath you've taken today,

Breathing in through your nose.

Holding your breath,

Holding your breath as long as you can if you need to release them that's fine.

And when you're ready releasing loudly,

Audibly through your mouth.

Keeping your hands over your heart.

Putting all your attention into your hands.

So that you can feel your heartbeat.

Your beautiful heart is beating within you.

And it is giving you the gift of life.

And it is giving the world the gift of love.

Thank you for the love that you have brought into the world.

Thank you for the kindness that you have brought into the world.

Thank you for the compassion that you have brought into the world.

Thank you to your beautiful heart.

Feeling that heartbeat and just knowing the simple and yet profound fact that this is what is keeping you alive.

This beautiful rhythm,

Your own personal rhythm.

So beautiful.

So wonderful.

And now inviting your heart space to open and there is a gold,

Gold light,

A beautiful gold light growing,

Growing in brightness and size.

Coming from your heart space through both of your hands,

Feeling the gold light in your hands.

Our hands are an extension of our heart space.

So appreciating your hands.

Thank you to your hands.

Beautiful hands.

Thanking them for everything they have done,

Everything they do for you.

Moving this light now,

This gold light through your heart,

Through your hands,

Through your spine,

Up and down your spine.

And then moving it out into the area around you.

All the way around you,

Scanning up and down your body,

Encasing you in a beautiful,

Warm,

Gold light.

It has the energy of joy.

It has the energy of celebration.

With no judgment if you are not personally feeling these things.

Just simply allowing it to wash over you.

Allowing it to move around you,

Filling the space all the way around you,

Up to the ceiling and out to the walls.

Creating a perfect circle.

A sphere of light all the way around you,

Above and below.

Feeling the energy of this light,

Beautiful,

Golden,

Healing light,

So beautiful.

And as always we release to be transmuted anything we no longer need to carry.

Watching anything be released now from your body.

Imagining each one has a colour and as it hits the gold light it is transformed and welcomed and turned into gold,

Gold light.

Feeling that now,

Any disappointment,

Any guilt or shame,

Any fear,

Any judgment from the past year,

Releasing it now.

Releasing it now without thinking,

Just letting it go.

Shrugging it off,

Maybe moving your shoulders up to your ears,

Clenching them and then releasing.

And feeling the gold light dance around you.

Maybe moving your shoulders,

Maybe flowing,

Feeling perhaps like you're dancing even if you're sitting or laying down.

From the shoulders,

I feel like it's the rhythm of the shoulders,

Perhaps moving them up and down or from side to side.

Feeling into a rhythm of your own and as you do you are pushing the light out.

Higher and wider,

Stronger and stronger,

Feeling the protection of this light.

And I invite you to think now of somewhere you wish to send this light.

It is your birthday and yet in the spirit of generosity we will be giving a gift of this light to the world.

So imagining now in your mind's eye as clearly as you possibly can,

A person,

A family,

A building,

A place in nature,

A whole country or continent,

Somewhere in your mind's eye,

Something that means a lot to you.

Perhaps it is an animal or a species or whatever is resonating to you.

It could even be a building or a school or a business.

Just one thing,

One place,

The most special place you can think and holding it in your mind's eye now.

And as we move our shoulders either from side to side or up and down,

Feeling the flow through our bodies of this golden light.

Keeping our hands on our hearts,

Using our hands to bring some of that light back from your aura back into your heart.

Imagining it moving up from your heart to your throat.

Imagining it now moving from your throat to your third eye.

Opening your third eye and imagining a beautiful,

Beautiful golden orb of light here.

Now in your mind's eye,

I want you to hold that place where you're going to send this gift of light.

And imagine it coming as a beam,

Like a sunbeam from your forehead out wherever you're sending it.

And holding in your eye the vision of a cloudy day,

You know,

When it's really grey and cloudy and then unexpectedly one ray of light.

One beam of sunlight breaks through.

And it's such a beautiful sight.

And that now is what your sunbeam will be doing.

Imagining that happening now,

Whether it's landing on someone's home or on their own forehead or landing on a place you've been on holiday or somewhere that's special to you.

Holding that image of the light coming from your head landing now somewhere that you love,

Somewhere that you appreciate,

Offering this magical birthday light in gratitude to them.

This gift,

This generous gift of light,

Imagining it landing now,

You don't have to do anything.

You just have to send the intention and the light will be there,

Received in the highest way.

This cosmic gift given by you on your birthday.

Feeling that energy of giving.

I want to thank you for your beautiful heart.

I want that to land deeply within you,

The gratitude.

You have chosen to be here at this time.

Thank you for being here.

Thank you for all the joy you have brought to the world and will bring to the world.

Thank you for all the love you have brought to the world and will bring to the world.

And then feeling that it's done its work,

That all is well.

Sealing your third eye,

Bringing your focus completely to your hands as the gold light around you seals your aura.

And comes back through your hands into your heart.
