Take a breath with me.
Breathe in through your nose,
Hold that inhale at the top for a moment,
And then exhale through your mouth,
Allowing yourself to land here,
Now.
There's a difference between believing it's all a part of God's plan and believing God has a plan for it all,
And that difference changes everything.
The first one can leave us drowning in questions.
If it was all planned,
Why did I have to go through that?
Why didn't he stop it?
Those are real questions,
Honest ones.
I've asked them too,
But the second one gives us somewhere to stand.
God has a plan for your suffering,
For your pain,
For every scar that lives in your body,
Your heart,
Your story.
And not because the hard things were designed to break you,
But because nothing in your life gets wasted.
Not one thing.
Your wounds become the very place where you can look someone in the eye and say,
I know.
I've been there.
You're not alone.
So wherever you are right now,
Whatever you're carrying or barely holding together,
I need you to hear this.
There are good plans in motion that you cannot fully see yet.
And that's not me Pollyanna-ing out on you.
That's a promise.
You don't have to understand it right now,
You just have to rest in it.
You are safe,
You are worthy,
And you are gonna be okay.
So take a breath with me right now.
Breathe in slowly.
.
.
Hold it at the top for just a moment.
.
.
And then let it go.
In this moment,
In this breath,
I want you to release the need to figure it all out right now.
Release the pressure to understand the how and the why and the when,
Just for right now,
Just for this breath.
You are not behind.
You are not forgotten.
You are not too broken for what's coming.
God sees the full picture even when all you can see is the middle of the story.
And the middle is not the end.
Take one more breath with me.
Breathe in.
.
.
Hold it at the top for a moment.
.
.
And then let it go.
God bless you today,
Wherever you are and whatever you're carrying.
You are so deeply loved.
