Faith in the body.
A sleep meditation for creative lightworkers.
Before we begin,
I want you to know how this practice works.
At a certain point,
I'll stop speaking and let the music continue,
So the sound can carry you gently into rest.
This meditation is for the creative heart,
For lightworkers,
For those who feel deeply,
Sense subtle shifts,
And often carry more responsibility than they were meant to hold alone.
Tonight,
We're not trying to solve anything.
We're not trying to think our way out.
We're practicing something different.
We're practicing trust.
So begin by getting comfortable,
Lying down if you can.
Let your body be fully supported by the surface beneath you.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
Hold at the top for a moment.
And exhale through your mouth.
We're going to do that three more times.
One.
Inhale through the nose.
Hold at the top for a moment.
And exhale through the mouth,
Letting the body relax a little bit more.
Two.
Inhaling through the nose.
Holding at the top for a moment.
And exhaling through the mouth.
Letting the surface beneath you receive even more of your weight.
Three.
Inhaling through the nose.
Holding at the top for a moment.
And exhaling through the mouth.
Allowing any lingering tension to soften.
As you breathe,
Allow yourself to acknowledge what's present.
Any worries,
Questions.
Acknowledge the places where you don't understand why something was taken away,
Delayed,
Or changed.
You don't need to make sense of it.
In this moment,
We're simply choosing to give it over now.
You may think of this as God,
Source,
The Universe,
Love,
Itself.
Whatever name feels true to you.
Silently,
You can even say,
This is no longer mine to carry.
Now we're going to make that statement true.
Not with our words,
But with a posture,
A sensation.
Living in our whole body.
Bring awareness to your feet.
Let them soften.
Allow your toes to relax.
Feel the weight of your heels resting.
Let your awareness move up into your calves.
Your knees.
Your thighs.
Notice if you're holding anywhere.
And if you are,
Let gravity help you release it.
Bring attention to your sit bones.
Your lower back.
Your upper back.
Your shoulders.
Your arms.
Your neck.
Your head.
Let your connection to the surface beneath you deepen.
Relax your belly.
Your chest.
There is nothing to brace for here.
Notice how much your body tries to solve things by holding tension.
As if that tension could keep things in control.
Let every part of your body rest now.
Let yourself be open.
Soft.
Unarmored.
Soften all the muscles on your face.
Around your eyes.
Between your eyebrows.
Your forehead.
Let yourself feel supported.
Free.
As you continue to relax.
You might notice small places still holding.
You don't need to hunt for tension,
Just notice.
And if you find it,
Let it go gently.
By breathing into that space.
And letting the shoulder,
The jaw,
The knee,
The foot,
The belly,
The back,
The heart.
Know that it is safe to relax now.
Thank each part for being so intuitive and for sharing its wisdom with you.
It has done its work well.
And now it is time to rest.
Imagine yourself surrounded by a soft lavender light.
Steady.
Protective.
You are safe.
You are cared for.
You are held.
Nothing is required of you right now.
There is nothing to solve,
It's already done.
Whatever needs to be handled is being handled.
You can let your mind rest now.
And if your mind must work,
Remember the best parts of today.
The small moments that made you smile.
A moment of warmth.
A breath that felt good.
A quiet wind only you know about.
And if the mind still wants to wander,
Come back to my voice.
Reminding you that you are so loved.
So lovable.
So loving.
So wanted.
So needed.
You are so loved.
So lovable.
So loving.
So wanted.
So needed.
You are lovable.
You are lovable.
You are loving.
You are wanted.
You are needed.
You are loved.
You are lovable.
You are loving.
You are wanted.
You are needed.
You are lovable.
You are loving.
You are wanted.
You are so needed.
