Rest In Trust: A Grounding Sleep Practice
by Lisa Berry
This grounding sleep meditation is designed to help the body remember trust, safety, and faith at a felt, physical level. Through gentle breathwork and a slow body scan, you’ll be guided out of mental looping and into a state of rest, allowing worries to be released to something greater than yourself. This practice is for creative, sensitive, and deeply feeling souls who carry a lot and need a safe place to put it down. Faith here isn’t something you think your way into. It’s something the body learns through experience. The meditation ends the same way I end evenings with my five-year-old, by repeating loving words as the body drifts into sleep, giving the mind something gentle to rest on instead of its usual chatter. After a certain point, I’ll stop speaking and let the music carry you softly into rest.
