Love this. Soothing preparation to eat - eating has become somewhat anxiety-provoking due to medical/GI system issues currently in early stages of identification. Stress just makes it worse, so it has become an unpleasant loop. This helped calm me and detach from the anxiety and concern over what might happen if I eat to much, too fast, or a certain type of food. I am writing this post-meal, and while there is still some unwanted activity in my gut, it is not as distressing now as it has been before. I was calm, and I continue to be calm. No matter my body's response, I am doing my best, and I am grateful for the Earth, the plants, the animals, and those who transform life into life-sustaining nourishment for others.
