The realization process is a series of embodied meditation practices for opening the body,

Heart,

And mind to non-dual reality.

In many body scan meditations,

You are guided to simply become aware of different parts of your body.

But in the realization process,

We're going a bit deeper.

Here,

You're not just becoming aware of your body,

You're inhabiting your body.

By inhabiting your body,

I mean feeling as though you are living and fully present within the internal space of your body.

To help you experience the difference,

What follows is a short introductory exercise from the realization process called distinction between aware of the body and inhabiting the body.

Sit with your back straight.

Rest your hands in your lap.

Take a few moments to become aware of your hands.

As you do this,

You may experience the temperature of your hands,

How hot or cold they are.

You may experience how relaxed or tense they are.

Now,

Enter into your hands.

Inhabit them.

Feel that you are the internal space of your hands.

Feel that you are living and present within your hands.
