Hello and welcome to your meditation to step out of the chaos and into your own world.
So welcome,
Welcome to a space for you to step away from the noise,
Step away from the expectations and the demands of the outside world and to return home to yourself.
Right now,
Nothing is required of you.
There is nowhere to be,
Nothing to do.
This is your time to breathe,
To reset and reconnect with your own energy.
It's time to step out of the box.
Find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Settle in,
Grab a blanket or some pillows.
And when you're ready,
When you're ready,
Gently close your eyes and just take a deep breath in and slowly exhale to bring your body into this moment.
Again,
Inhale deeply and exhale fully,
Releasing any tension you may be holding.
Imagine for a moment that you are standing at the edge of a busy,
Noisy world.
This world is filled with expectations,
Responsibility,
Opinions,
Constant movement and chatter.
It is the world of shoulds and have tos,
Of other people's needs and demands.
It is the world that lives in the box.
Now,
Visualize yourself with both feet standing in the box,
All that chaos swirling around your ankles,
All people's business,
Other people's emotions,
Other people's conditioning,
Other people's childhoods and experiences.
And visualize yourself intentionally stepping out of the box and into your world.
Make sure both feet come out of the box.
Your world,
A quiet,
Sacred space where you are your own priority.
And with a deep breath in,
Feel the earth beneath you in your own world,
Supporting you,
Lovingly holding you.
And notice the noise fading away behind you,
The weight of expectations dissolving.
Because you are now in a place where you are free,
Free to be,
Free to breathe,
Free to exist exactly as you are.
Look around this space you're in.
This is your world.
This is your sanctuary.
Perhaps you're standing in a peaceful forest.
Or you're on a quiet beach,
Or maybe a cozy sunlit room.
Wherever you are,
It is yours.
And if you can't find that space yet,
That's okay,
That's okay.
Simply feel the stillness here when you're out of the box,
The absence of pressure,
The softness of simply being.
Notice how it feels to be here,
Where no one is asking anything of you,
Where nobody's energy is pulling at you.
This is the space where your own needs matter,
Where you listen to yourself,
Where you care for yourself and nurture your own well-being.
And as you breathe in,
Affirm to yourself out loud or in your mind,
I am my own priority.

Rest here for a few more moments,
Allowing the sense of peace to settle deep into your heart.
Know that this place is always,

Even if only in your mind and return to yourself.
Return home.
Now imagine yourself gently turning back towards the box and simply looking in.
Bringing a sense of peace with you.
The chaos is still happening.
But you are now not a part of it.
You carry this calm within.
Knowing that you are not responsible for everything and everyone.

Take one more deep breath in.
Filling up your lungs,
Filling up your soul.
Nourishing it.
And exhale slowly.
With a sigh if you want.
And when you're ready,
Begin to bring some awareness back to your body.
Wriggle your fingers,
Wriggle your toes.
And feel the surface beneath you,
Supporting you,
Holding you.
And when you're ready,
Only when you're ready,
Gently,
Gently open your eyes.
Knowing that you can always return to your own world.
Where your peace,
Your needs and your energy come first.
You are your own sanctuary.
And that is enough.
