This Boat Gently Rocks | A Calm Guitar Song About Our Lives
Although this instrumental song was written about the beautiful Greek Island of Corfu, off the back of a little boat trip in which the boat was “gently rocking”, the song actually represents how Lawrence (and hopefully many others) likes to approach life. Life is like a river, flowing forward, with both its rapids and calm sections and our physical body is the boat. This song represents the gentle rocking of the boat through the river of life. Let’s enjoy the journey and embrace both the rapids and the calmness with love. The ending of the song represents the boat reaching the flat, calm sea mouth from the river and sailing out into the wide ocean across the horizon.
