Hello and welcome to In The Flow with Lori Albert.
Hope everybody's feeling great today.
So in the United States,
I know I have listeners all over the world,
But in the United States,
These last,
Well,
A long time,
I'm not even going to give a time thing.
We've been having mass shootings where multiple people die and these shootings are like designed to cause fear.
It's true.
They're designed to cause fear.
I mean,
Why else would somebody do something like that?
Okay.
But we're not here to get into that part of it,
Right?
Why would somebody do that?
It's a power trip,
Blah,
Blah,
Blah.
Right.
Okay.
And that side,
I feel like that our conscious side knows that,
Right?
And deals with that.
And it's sad and it's horrible.
Absolutely 100% horrible,
Right?
But today I want to focus on,
I don't want to say a different aspect,
But a lesser thought of aspect to these horrendous,
Ridiculous actions and such.
What if instead of allowing these situations,
These shootings,
What if instead of allowing it to cause fear that we focus on love instead?
What if we focus on loving humanity instead of the anger and the fear?
Now here's my thing.
I don't necessarily,
It's not that I don't believe per se in anger or hate.
I shouldn't say I don't believe in anger because that's not right.
But like hate,
It's not that I don't believe in hate,
But I believe that fear is worse.
I believe that fear is a lower vibrational emotion.
And when we allow ourselves to get caught up in a fearful situation,
That's what causes us to lose our power.
So today,
That's what I want to focus on.
I want us to meditate on being,
Choosing,
Creating love.
Because,
You know,
David G started saying this,
And I never get this out of my head.
It's like always there.
The highest vibration wins.
Right?
So if we can focus ourselves on love,
Then we win.
It's just as simple as that.
Right?
I was talking to someone the other day,
And she was talking about how to get into a conversation with somebody and blah,
Blah,
Blah.
And so what I said was this.
If you go into the conversation from a place of love,
Then your heart will come through in whatever the conversation is.
Right?
So if you come at it from a place of love,
Instead of like,
Well,
Blah,
Blah,
Blah,
You did this and I did this and we did,
You know,
That all of that.
If you come at it from a place of love,
Like I choose before you have an argument or you want to like sort of confront somebody,
Let's say,
Because they did you wrong.
Right?
So instead of doing that,
Instead of coming from a place of attacking,
Say I want to come from a place of love and get this result because I am hurt.
So if you choose a place of love,
More gets accomplished.
And it's interesting because,
And it's so funny that Spirit gives me this stuff as I'm talking,
Because I remember Saint,
Well,
Mother Teresa,
Who is a saint now,
But Mother Teresa talking about if you hold an anti-whatever protest,
I can't,
I won't go.
If you hold an anti blah,
Blah,
Blah rally,
I can't go.
But if you hold a pro-love or a pro-peace rally,
I will be there for that.
And what wisdom is there in that?
Oh,
My gosh,
You know,
Just blows my mind.
Right?
And it's just absolutely amazing.
So today,
That's what we're going to focus on.
We're going to focus on being pro-love.
Right?
And we're going to focus on releasing the fear.
Releasing it.
There's so much,
There's so much hate in the world.
We don't need any more.
We don't need any more of that.
We really don't.
So,
Okay,
So let's get ourselves comfortable.
Let's get ourselves comfortable.
Because this is a good,
This is a really has the potential to be the best meditation that we have done in a long time.
That's the potential for that,
Right?
Believing in love and keeping love in our heart is everything.
Right?
So let's get ourselves comfortable.
Let's take a beautiful,
And as we breathe in today's meditation,
We're going to focus on our breath a little bit more.
As we breathe in,
I want you to breathe in all the goodness that you can in life.
Right?
So breathe in positivity,
Joy,
Peace,
Love,
Breathe it in.
Okay,
So let's take a nice long breath in.
And we're going to focus on breathing in all the long deep breath in.
And as we breathe out,
Breathe out fear,
Hate.
How does that feel to you?
So,
As we get ready to sit in our silence just for a few moments,
I want you to focus on two or three things that you're grateful for.
What are two or three things?
Like,
And try,
And I don't say this very often because I'm about let be what it's going to be,
But try to figure something out that's a little bit on the deeper side.
I am grateful that the man in the grocery store smiled at me.
I am grateful for the amazing connection I had between me and somebody else yesterday.
Because when it all comes down to it,
What else do we have?
Right?
That's my gratitude for the day.
Connection and spreading the love.
And what are you grateful for?
So,
As we sit in the silence for just a few minutes,
As we breathe in,
This is our mantra for the day.
As you take your breath in,
You say,
I choose love.
And as you breathe out,
You say,
I release fear.
And if your breathing is shorter than other people's,
You can just use the words love and fear.
Breathing in love.
Breathing out fear.
I choose love.
I release fear.
I choose love.
I release fear.
I choose love.
I release fear.
So,
I will keep the time.
Focus on your breath.
Breathing in,
Choosing love,
And breathing out,
Releasing fear.
And let's begin.
So,
The the the the the the the the.
