So have you been holding back?
Do you ever find yourself holding back on who you are?
Do you find yourself like not saying stuff just because you may look weird if you do or you may sound weird if you do?
You know we make ourselves so wrong all the time for how we think,
How we feel,
The things we do and it's really ridiculous to do.
You know we should accept ourselves for who we are and who we are not.
You know I found myself,
Okay so as a young person I'm I just turned 56 I'm gonna cough on that but and I was reminded recently actually the other day that when I was younger I was looked at as like a sort of ditzy blonde right and I remember making myself not making myself feel that way but creating this like not saying what I wanted to say not being who I really was in the world and because of that I sort of got this sort of ditzy blonde sort of like Pete that's how people looked at me and someone reminded me of that from when we were when I was younger and I remembered how that made me feel it made me feel so less than and so um not as good as everybody else and so just sad about myself right but then I started thinking and it was like right in my face and I wasn't expecting that memory you know to come back right and so what happened was is that then I started thinking to myself about how far I've come and who I am now and I am not afraid to hence you know doing a podcast right I'm not afraid of being who I am anymore and you know I have come to a place of acceptance of myself and that is a hard thing to do right it can be a hard thing to do for some people it's easy but for me it took me many years it really did and it took me really coming to terms with who I truly am the medium the psychic the the Lori you know what I mean and it's been a really interesting it's been a really interesting journey you know when I look back at who I was and then and who I am now obviously this was many years ago but you know but you want to know a good secret you're perfect just the way you are have you ever thought that about yourself does anybody really think that about themselves I am perfect just the way I am Wow it's kind of big I am perfect just the way I am it took me so long to live into that and to even sort of accept it I mean obviously you know I mean I shouldn't say obviously but I still struggle with it you know because I'll hold backwards that I think somebody is gonna think I'm stupid you know that I'm a ditzy blonde I hold stuff back I still even though I'm standing here I'm here right now on this this podcast and and live talking you know about it but guess what we are perfect just the way we are you are perfect with all of your faults with all of my faults with everything right coming to terms with that and allowing ourself to live into that is life-changing and so freeing spirit wants us to be who we are right don't you think spirit God universe whatever you want to call it right wants us to be who we are because we're beings of light in this world we are beings of light we are beings of love so we're gonna meditate on this let's meditate on it right okay so let's get ourselves comfortable and yep sit nicely let your eyes float closed very comfortable very good let's take a nice deep breath in and release there's such a comfort in the idea of being who we are supposed to be in the world and just living our truth living who we are living being who we are acceptance of ourself so our mantra for today some porna hum it's Sanskrit and the literal translation is I am complete when was the last time you thought that about yourself but we are and if we meditate on it and we allow it to sink in to our being maybe just maybe we will start to believe ourselves and accept ourselves some porna hum I am complete if you lose the mantra as we're saying it to ourselves just focus on your breath and focus on being who you are supposed to be and living in acceptance of yourself some porna hum I will keep the time and let's begin some porna hum some porna hum some porna hum you you you you you you you you you you some porna hum some porna hum some porna hum I am complete start bringing our awareness back to our bodies let's take a nice deep breath in and release it beautiful imagine if we all went through our day saying to ourselves I am complete I accept myself you are complete you are perfect in every way so I hope you take that with you today maybe smile a little bit more so thank you so much for being with me as usual it's been wonderful being here from my heart to yours namaste everybody
