Good morning everybody.
Welcome to morning meditation in the flow.
Perfect.
I am so excited about today's meditation.
We are going to focus on confidence.
You'd think,
Oh that's such an easy to consider word,
Right?
You know,
I've got confidence in this or I've got confidence to do this or whatever,
But you know what the reality is?
It's a really fine balance.
If you have too much confidence you are considered egotistical.
People don't really like to be around that,
Right?
But if you have too little self-confidence,
Your dreams potentially don't come true.
So I find it to be that it's such a balance.
It's truly a balance,
Right?
So I was reminded of a situation for me,
And it's not a dramatic situation.
I'm not gonna really get into it because it's a kind of a big conversation,
But I was reminded of a situation where I don't trust myself to do something,
Right?
So I've been avoiding doing it.
I've been avoiding dealing with it and I just kind of put it to the side.
I just allowed myself to sort of forget it,
Right?
But now I'm at a place where,
You know what,
Spirit sort of nudged me during a reading actually yesterday.
It nudged me like,
Come on,
You need to deal with this.
So I thought,
Well what a better way than to deal with it in front of all of my friends,
Right?
You know,
It's me not dealing with this one thing is about my lack of self-esteem in that circumstance.
And we all have that,
Right?
We have great self-esteem and confidence in one circumstance and then less in another.
So then I was reminded of this quote by Buddha,
And so I was like searching and searching.
So I found two quotes by Buddha that I wanted to talk about or I wanted to share with you guys.
No one saves us but ourselves.
No one can and no one may.
We ourselves must walk the path,
Right?
So only we can decide then when is the right time for us to work on our self-esteem and our confidence,
Right?
Then the other quote is,
And this is like one of my favorites of all time of Buddha,
We are what we think.
All that we are arises from our thoughts.
With our thoughts we make the world.
Wow.
I mean,
You know,
Does it get more deep than that?
But the reality is that's what our life is.
So if we choose not to deal with something,
If we choose not to deal with our self-esteem in a certain circumstance,
Then that's our world.
But if we choose to deal with our thoughts in that certain circumstance,
Then that's our world as well.
Interesting,
Right?
So today's meditation,
We are going to,
It's going to be kind of a guided meditation.
And so no mantras today.
But what I want to do is,
I want us all to allow ourselves to just be in the moment as I'm guiding this meditation.
Okay?
So let's get ourselves all comfortable.
Get yourself comfy,
However that it means to you.
If it's sitting upright,
I meditated the other day laying down and I hardly ever do that.
But it was nice for a change and it felt so refreshing,
Right?
So whatever feels the most comfortable to you.
Okay?
So get yourself comfortable.
Okay?
Let's take a nice long,
Very deep,
Deep breath in.
Okay?
Let's breathe in through our nose and then out our mouth.
So take a deep breath in.
Very,
Very slowly fill up your lungs and breathe out.
Gently allow your eyes to go closed.
Let's do that again.
Breathing in through our nose really,
Really slow.
Appreciating every molecule of oxygen.
And breathe out.
Perfect.
So let's concentrate on,
For right now,
Our crown chakra.
Our crown chakra is right at the top of our head,
Just above our head,
And I like to call it the wisdom chakra.
When it's open,
We allow all the wisdom to come in to our bodies and our minds.
Let's open up that chakra.
The color for the crown chakra is white.
So let's envision ourselves being bathed in white light.
And thinking about meditating on confidence.
We think so much about not having enough or having too much,
But let's focus on who we are and being our truth,
Being our love,
And what that really means to us.
And in your minds today,
I'm going to say some phrases.
I want you to repeat them to yourself and allow the wisdom of the universe to go deep into our souls.
So repeat after me.
I am strong.
I am beautiful.
I am strong.
I am beautiful.
I am loved.
I am talented.
My light shines like the sun.
I am confident.
My soul is like the sun.
My soul is filled with white love that energizes our planet.
My heart expands knowing that joy is everywhere around me.
Love surrounds everything I do and everything I am.
I am strong.
I am beautiful.
I am loved.
I shine like the sun.
I am confident.
I am strong.
I am loved.
I am confident.
To seal this beautiful meditation,
Let's take a nice long deep,
Deep breath in.
Breathing in very,
Very slow through our nose.
Breathe in.
And hold it and release.
Allow yourself to come back to the room that you're in.
And when you feel comfortable,
You can open your eyes.
Beautiful everybody.
Absolutely beautiful.
You know,
There's so many emotions that we can have throughout our lives,
Throughout the day.
And so many of them are good emotions and then some are we have to work on.
And confidence is one of those.
So I wish for you a very beautiful,
Confident day where you get to experience your own beauty and your own strength.
I wish that for you all today.
Thank you for joining me and until next time,
Namaste everybody.
Have a wonderful day.
Love you guys.
