Welcome!

This is Laura from My Aligned Life.

This is your space to soften,

To breathe,

To come home to yourself.

This meditation is meant to be repeated for the next three days in a row,

And then once a week for the next month.

Each time you return,

You're helping your nervous system remember.

You're not broken,

You're not behind,

You're simply learning how to trust your timing again.

Let us begin.

Take a moment to find stillness.

Feel your body supported,

Whether you're seated,

Lying down,

Or curled up on your side.

You're safe here,

And just for now,

You get to put everything down.

Nothing to hold,

Nothing to fix,

Nowhere to be,

But right here.

Begin with a slow,

Unforced breath in through the nose,

And a longer breath out through your mouth.

Let's do it again.

Inhale softly.

Exhale slowly.

Take another round on your own.

Let's begin to relax the body gently,

Layer by layer,

Starting at the crown of your head.

Imagine a soft golden thread unspooling downward,

Weaving warmth across your forehead,

Smoothing the tiny muscles around your eyes,

Releasing your jaw,

Allowing your shoulders to drop,

Your chest to soften,

Your belly to be easy and unguarded.

This thread continues down your spine,

Weaving through your hips,

Unwinding tension as it goes.

It knows exactly where to move.

It's ancient,

Wise,

Yours.

Let this golden thread ground you through your legs,

Your knees,

Your feet,

Anchoring you into the earth.

You are being held.

Now,

I invite you to imagine that your life is a loom,

And every thought,

Every belief,

Every relationship is a thread.

Some threads have been handed down.

Some were woven by survival.

Some are ready to be rewoven.

Breathe into that.

You're not wrong for the way you've done it.

You've been weaving from what you've had,

What you've known,

From what you were taught,

From what kept you safe.

But now,

You get to choose differently.

Let go of the thread that says,

I have to earn rest.

Let go of the thread that says,

I must always be strong.

Let go of the thread that says,

Trusting others is dangerous.

Everyone else gets to be free except for me.

I'm too late.

I should be further.

I need to figure it all out before I can make a move.

Let each one of these dissolve.

Feel them fall away like loose ends.

Because they are not you.

They are not now.

Now,

Picture this.

A new tapestry beginning.

One that includes your softness,

Your stillness,

Your desire.

You do not need to do this alone.

There are others weaving beside you.

The rhythms may differ,

But you're in a shared dance.

You're not behind.

You're in a rhythm.

You're not stuck.

You're being rewoven.

And the version of you who is emerging,

She trusts herself.

Say this softly in your mind.

I am enough.

I am in the right place.

I trust my rhythm.

This is the right time.

Let the words repeat gently as your nervous system receives them.

I am enough.

I am in the right place.

I trust my rhythm.

I'm in the right time.

Let them echo through the loom of your life.

Weaving new threads of truth,

Compassion,

Freedom.

Feel the rise and fall of your chest.

The presence of your body.

Maybe you notice a softening.

Maybe not.

Both are perfect.

Trust what's here.

Wiggle your fingers.

Move your toes.

Come back to this room slowly.

No rush.

Your rhythm is enough.

Before we close,

One more time.

I am enough.

I am in the right place.

I trust my rhythm.

I am in the right time.

Let this mantra stay with you like a quiet hum beneath your day.

Thank you for weaving this moment with me.

This is my aligned life and you've just taken a beautiful step home to yourself.

Come back to this practice for three days in a row.

Then once a week for the next month.

Each time you return,

You anchor more deeply into trust.

Not just in yourself,

But in the timing of your entire life.

You are not behind.
