Take a few moments now and settle deeply into your body,
Placing your awareness in the deepest part of your belly.
Allow your palms to rest on your lower abdomen.
There's a spark of life,
Of energy,
Pulsing there beneath your fingertips,
Just behind your navel.
Take long,
Slow,
Deep breaths,
Pulling the breath deep into your belly and feeling your stomach expand as you inhale.
As you inhale,
Intend that you are breathing in pure,
Divine light through the crown of your head,
Flowing through your being to the deepest part of your belly.
And as you exhale,
Feel it flowing down through your hips,
Your pelvis,
Your legs,
And out through the soles of your feet.
Feed the light in through your crown,
Through your entire body,
And intend that it flow out.
Feel it washing through you.
Know that it is cleansing you of anything that no longer serves you in this moment.
Every cell and particle of your being is being purified and nourished by this divine light.
Picture yourself in a beautiful,
Peaceful meadow.
You know this place.
You've been here many times before.
This is a sacred and protected place,
A safe place,
A space for healing and restoration.
As we begin our journey,
Know that you are surrounded by the love,
Protection,
And support of your higher power.
You are safe.
Take a moment now and notice your surrounding.
Breathe in the scent of the air.
Feel the earth between your toes and the sunlight on your skin.
Soak in the goodness of this place.
You lift your head and notice a beautiful path has opened up before you.
A shimmering light floats in the air,
Guiding you down the path.
You step onto the path and begin to walk,
Feeling the warm dirt beneath your feet and sunlight on your skin.
You can hear the birds singing in the trees.
You can smell the fresh green of the leaves rustling in the trees around you.
Make your way deeper into the forest.
You realize the path is bringing you to the entrance of a sacred cave.
Approach the entrance to the cave.
Warm rock beneath your hands is filled with moss.
Spirals of water are running down and through the stones and the air around the cave feels vibrant.
You enter the cave feeling perfectly safe and curious about what you will discover inside.
The entrance to the cave feels like a wall opening into the earth itself.
Feel the stillness and a sensation of great peace surrounding you.
Though it is dark in the cave,
The shimmering light continues to light your way as you make your way carefully over the ancient mossy stone.
It leads you to a staircase,
Roughly hewn out of the cave itself,
To the earth,
Step by step,
Each step taking you deeper into the earth,
Deeper into yourself.
You reach the bottom of the stairs and discover a small cavern before you.
There is a pool of water in the center of the cavern,
And a shaft of light pours through the roof of the cave and illuminates a rocky pedestal,
Rising up through the crystal clear water of the cave.
The light slants down,
And you see there is something waiting for you on the pedestal,
Filled with curiosity and wonder.
You can feel the sacredness of this place.
It feels like being wrapped in the warm embrace of the earth herself.
It feels like time has pressed pause here.
All is still.
All is ancient and patiently waiting.
Into the poolness of the water,
Your skin,
Step up to the pedestal.
There is a small figurine on the pedestal.
Hold it in your palms,
Gazing upon it,
And you realize it is the Venus of Willendorf.
As you hold the little sculpture in your hand,
A feeling of warmth begins to course and flow through your palms,
Your wrists and arms,
Permeating through your entire body.
As you are being gifted the opportunity to connect with her,
This most ancient fertility goddess.
As you gaze upon the figurine,
You notice the ripe softness of her figure.
Lovingly and carefully it's been sculpted.
Lots of hair,
Her ceremonial headdress.
Take it all in,
And you begin to hear within your mind,
Press me to your heart,
To feel a transmission,
A communication.
Just be still and listen,
Slowly,
Your consciousness to return to the pool of water within the cave.
Knowing that the messages you received are being integrated into your being,
Carry them with you on a soul level.
Don't lose this.
This wisdom is yours.
This connection is yours.
You are allowed to take space.
Look down into your hands,
And you see now that the little sculpture has become quiet,
And still one small sculpture to your lips,
Kissing it softly.
And then press the little figure to your heart with a feeling of gratitude,
Comfort,
Peace.
Finally,
You place the little sculpture back on the pedestal.
It is time now.
You feel a sense of completion,
Complete and utter peace in your heart.
With a deep bow of gratitude,
You leave the little pool,
Slowly turning and wading back through the water,
Stepping back onto the rocky floor of the cavern.
Move through the cavern,
Back towards the staircase,
Stepping over the mossy stone.
You feel still,
But alive,
Pregnant with energy and magic.
You turn one last time,
Silently expressing your gratitude as you bid farewell to this place,
And to ascend the stairs,
The entrance of the cave,
Step by step.
With each step,
You sense the light at the entrance of the cave beginning to glow softly,
Brighter and brighter.
You can faintly hear the trees rustling outside the mouth of the cave,
Birds singing on the breeze.
Warm air begins to filter down through the staircase as you reach the mouth of the cavern.
You reach the top of the stairs,
And you exit the mouth,
Leaving the cave behind as you return to the path.
Dirt beneath your feet,
Smelling the rich green of the forest.
You take your time in the centre,
Stepping through the grass,
Feeling it between your toes with each footstep,
Rooting deeper back into the earth.
You reach the centre of the sunny clearing,
Clear blue sky overhead,
And you lay back into the grass,
Deep belly breath.
Turn your palms to your lower back,
And rest once more on the pulse of energy beneath your fingertips,
Just behind you.
As you breathe deeply,
Allow your consciousness to slowly return to the present moment.
Open your eyes with a smile,
And return to the present moment.
