During this meditation, you will be gently led through a process of tuning into your self, receiving your body's messages, and finishing by blessing your body with gratitude. This Guided Meditation is a beautiful practice that can be practiced daily or on an as-needed basis. It is infused with the additional support of Reiki energy, and you do not need to already practice Reiki in order to benefit from it. Sometimes we have a difficult time tuning into our bodies. Its needs and functions can begin to feel like a mystery to us, especially if we have not yet begun to cultivate a practice of intentionally communing with our physical selves and listening to what it has to tell us. With regular practice, you will develop a deeper awareness of your body's wants and needs and begin to sense what is asking for balance in a proactive way. You may receive intuitive guidance and begin to feel more harmony, appreciation, and respect for your physical body.

Make yourself comfortable.

Find your meditation posture for this experience.

Begin with your hands on your lower abdomen.

In Reiki,

We refer to this as the Hara.

Allow the gentle warmth and pressure of your touch to bring your awareness down to your centre.

Become aware of your breathing and notice the way your abdomen expands when you breathe in and contracts as you breathe out.

Take a few conscious breaths now and begin to drop your awareness down into your centre,

Into the deepest part of your abdomen.

Close your eyes and if you have Reiki,

You can intend that your Reiki begins to flow now.

Take this time now to tune into your body and be aware of any sensations or messages that arise as you relax into a space of acceptance and listening to your body's needs.

Now take a moment to consciously fill your body with gratitude.

Gratitude for your senses,

Your skin and bones,

Your beating heart,

Gratitude for the beauty and texture that your body allows you to sense and feel and know,

And gratitude for the way it has devoted itself to you,

Fully and completely,

Throughout your entire life.

Allow that gratitude to flow through your hands and into your centre now.

Gently,

Slowly,

Come back to the present moment.

Aware,

Attuned to your body and ready to have a wonderful day.
