Welcome.
Find a comfortable position,
Lying on your back or sitting tall with your feet on the floor.
Close your eyes and take three slow deep breaths in through your nose out through your mouth.
Letting your shoulders drop away from your ears.
Again.
Breathe in.
And out.
Today we are not fixing anything,
We are thanking everything.
Bring your attention to your feet,
The feet that ground you,
That walk you through your daily life.
Silently say,
Thank you for keeping me steady.
Now move to your ankles and calves,
The muscles that flex and bend with every step.
Say thank you for your flexibility.
Bring your awareness to your knees and thighs,
The pillars that support your sitting and standing.
Say thank you for your strength.
Now your hips and lower back,
The areas that hold so much of your unspoken stress.
Breathe into them and say,
Thank you for protecting me.
I release you now.
Move up to your stomach and chest,
The space of your intuition and your courage.
Feel your breath rising and falling.
Say,
ÌThank you for my life force.
Î Now your shoulders,
Neck and jaw,
Where you clench when you worry.
Soften them completely.
Say,
Thank you for carrying my burdens.
I put them down now.
Finally,
Your face,
Your forehead,
Eyes,
And cheeks.
Say,
Thank you for my expression,
For my smile,
For my tears.
Take one last deep breath.
Feel this wave of gratitude flowing from your head to your toes.
You are not broken,
You are perfectly human.
Carry this quiet gratitude with you into your day.
Slowly wiggle your fingers and toes.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Thank you.
