Trance-Inducing Polyrhythmic Harp And Violin
by Kin Thiessen
This is a mysterious piece of trance-inducing harp and violin music inspired by the polyrhythms played on the Gabonese Harp during the Iboga ceremony. It is thought that the use of polyrhythms, playing 4 beats in one hand and 3 in the other, helps to access both sides of the brain. Iboga is used whilst music is played to bring about deep healing in the patient.
