My name is Kiki and I wanted to share.
One of my practices with you and it's a practice that has is very simple that has changed my life.
I'm sure you know about it and you can use this to refine how you want to do it.
The important thing is to do the practice and that is the practice of gratitude.
And we've all heard all the phrases and poems.
About having an attitude of gratitude and the importance of gratitude,
The importance of being thankful for what you have.
And not in agony for which you do not have.
So.
One of the ways that I do this practice,
Have it come into life,
Is to every day write down minimally five,
Yes,
Five things that you are grateful for and use the phrase,
I am grateful to get it started out.
I am a journal girl,
So I like to keep stuff in a journal,
But sometimes I don't have my journal available.
You can write it down anywhere and in multiple places,
But it's just important to actually write it down.
Sometimes I use post-its.
And put them on my mirror so I can see.
So for example,
Today,
This morning I wrote in my gratitude journal.
I am grateful for Insight Timer.
I am grateful for Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
I am grateful to Wicca.
I am grateful for my family.
I am grateful to share my practices.
And I,
In my gratitude book,
Journal is I keep a running journal and I date it because I remember an early practice was write a hundred things you're grateful for.
And that was very daunting,
But I did it and it was fulfilling and you couldn't repeat.
But now.
.
.
As I number these,
I'm on number 675,
So it's very powerful.
To do it,
And you can do it whenever you want to.
I like to start out by doing a few in the morning,
And I like to end my day by doing a few and then if I think of stuff during the day.
I also write it out.
That's my practice.
It's very simple and I'm grateful to be able to share it with you.
