Hi and welcome to today's short practice.
So I invite you to find a comfortable position wherever you might be.
When you're ready,
Just gently closing your eyes and just taking a couple of deep breaths just to settle into this moment.
And just beginning to slow the breath down ever so slightly.
We don't want to use too much force,
Too much control over it,
But just slowing it down in a way that's comfortable for you as we just let the body know that it's time to rest,
That it's safe,
That it doesn't have anything to do.
And becoming aware of your face and just using that exhale to let any tension go that might be there across the forehead,
The eyes,
The jaw,
Allowing your shoulders to drop,
Your arms to be heavy,
Softening your hands,
Allowing the belly to be soft,
Relaxing the legs and the feet.
And as you exhale,
Just softening into the support beneath you and continuing to breathe softly and steadily.
And when you're ready,
Just gently blinking open your eyes and coming back to the space that you're in.
So thank you for joining me today and I'll see you next time.
