Welcome to today's meditation.
We are living in a world filled with uncertainty.
Our lives instantly changed from being immersed in our daily routines to being stuck inside,
Within,
To meet with our shadows.
Shifting from feelings of hopelessness to hope,
From confusion to clarity and back again.
And maybe pondering questions like,
What will be the new normal?
What do I want?
And where do I go from here?
Old wounds begin to rise to the surface because we have nothing but time to deal with them.
No more numbing of ourselves with our busyness.
Bouts of loneliness can be felt in the quiet,
But it's the quiet that does the healing.
Whether you are waiting for a sense of normalcy,
Waiting for that right partner to enter your life,
Or waiting to fully live in your truth,
Know that hope can be found in the waiting.
Please close your eyes and find a comfortable position,
Whatever feels right for you.
Let's begin by taking a long,
Deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth,
Letting out a sigh.
Another deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth,
Releasing all of that dense energy.
If your thoughts begin to flood in,
It's okay.
Don't judge them.
Just imagine them floating away one by one.
Deep breath in through your nose and exhale.
Life is what happens in the waiting.
It is a time for greater presence,
An opportunity to rest,
Renew,
And transform.
While waiting,
You get to create.
Let's journey.
Create in your mind's eye an image of your future self.
How do you look?
Who are you with?
What are you doing?
And how do you feel?
This time is just for you.
