This song is a remembering that we are one. Remembering our Oneness does not necessarily mean that we throw away our sense of self. For me it's more of an expansion into our larger self that we all share, yet divide it in order to conceptually understand. When we chant and sing with feeling, those feelings can connect us to a reality beyond our ability to understand, yet when we're in it, it becomes obvious.
