Kelly’s yoga journey began in 2004 in South Africa at a meditation retreat. She fell in love with yoga as a gentle form of exercise and quickly began to feel the effects of the practice – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. After years of sporadic practice, Kelly returned to yoga after the birth of her daughter and instantly remembered the connection between practicing yoga and feeling strong, centered, and calm. Kelly became a certified yoga instructor at Yandara Yoga Institute in Baja, Mexico in May 2016 and a certified meditation teacher in February 2021. A perpetual student, Kelly has continued her studies in yoga philosophy, Reiki energy healing, and relaxation massage. Kelly is the host of Namaste Thunder Bay on Shaw TV and is excited to share the health and wellness benefits of yoga, meditation, and the healing arts.
