The ekarnidra practice is a combination of the ancient yoga nidra and nature connection practices and it's basically a gift from yourself to yourself to deeply relax and let your body process all the input from the outer world and just take a break from all of it and take a triple journey we're gonna take a triple journey together through the senses and the body and the earth so to start us off let's just lay on your back if it's comfortable for you traditionally the practice is being enjoyed on on your back in the shivasana position if for some reason that position is not comfortable just feel free to find any other position if you are on your back then if you focus on your feet you can just let your feet fall apart to the sides to relax your legs if you have a blanket it will support you to cover yourself as the body temperature could drop will likely drop actually so if you don't quite need it now it will support you to to have it for later and so that you don't have to move anymore so covering yourself already and then just noticing what your body needs to feel really comfortable so maybe that means putting a thin cushion under your head maybe it can also mean that you need to put something under your knees to support your lower back maybe it means that you need to move your shoulders just a bit just notice how your shoulder blades are move your head a little bit just to find the most natural position for the practice knowing that your plants and crystals are close to you that they'll be witnessing your journeys and maybe the intention that you're going to plant and if you're ready and if it feels good to you you can just close your eyes so closing your eyes and first just noticing how it is to be laying in the room where you are on your back with your eyes closed just allowing yourself to land to arrive in this present moment letting the day behind you and simply be for just a moment and let us start with a journey through the senses so first we can maybe bring our attention to the breath just breathing naturally and noticing how the air is flowing into your body to your nostrils each and every time noticing the temperature of that air if it's warm or if it's actually cooling your nose from the inside observing where the breath goes the subtle movements in your body the gentle expansion and contraction and then noticing what happens to the temperature of the air when you breathe out noticing the air on your skin just the point where your skin it is touching the atmosphere and where the atmosphere is touching you and just acknowledging this touch this relationship we have with the earth and this constant exchange in and out and then again i wonder if there's any difference in temperature on your face on your bare skin and then under your clothes or your blanket i wonder if there's places where you can feel the clothes touching your skin and as you're laying with your eyes closed just wondering if you can still see anything behind your eyelids if there's still any play of light and shade any colors maybe and maybe it's dark and maybe it's dark And when we bring our attention to the sense of hearing,
So you're listening to my voice,
Right now,
The tone of it,
The melody,
And the silence in between.
And maybe there's other sounds in the room,
In the space where you are,
Surrounding you.
Farther away or close.
And just perceiving all of this as the concert of this moment,
The unique concert of this shared moment.
And as you're laying down,
Let's just bring the attention to all the points where your body is touching the ground,
The surface.
This might be your heels,
Calves,
The backs of your thighs,
Your pelvis,
Back,
The back of your arms and hands,
And the back of your head.
And then just using our sense of imagination and imagine there's roots that are starting to grow out of these contact points,
Roots that are slowly growing down into the earth,
Roots that are curious.
They want to see what they are passing on the way.
Maybe they'll need to pass different materials,
Floors,
People,
Animals,
Till ultimately they've reached the soil and growing down into the soil.
I wonder what they'll see there,
The creatures living in there,
Hidden,
Safe.
Till your roots ultimately meet the roots of a tree or trees.
And just giving them a little rub,
A friendly hello.
And then slowly growing back up and up,
Till your roots disappear in your body again.
Noticing again these contact points and if there's any heaviness in your body,
In your limbs,
Just sinking into the ground and letting it carry you lovingly,
Trusting that the earth is gonna take care of you,
As she's holding all of us with gravity.
And I wonder if there's any wish or intention that you're carrying in your heart,
Anything that you'd like to happen or be for yourself,
Your loved ones or the world.
And then imagining that situation as if it is happening right now,
As if you're being there,
Being it.
Seeing all the details,
The colors,
Shapes,
The sounds or voices.
And just how it feels to be it already,
Be there,
See it happening right now.
And holding that feeling for just a bit.
And then letting that image fade away and setting up on another journey.
This journey is a little pilgrimage through the body.
So I'm gonna name a few points on your body,
The traditional marma points or energy points.
And just invite you to bring your attention,
Bring your awareness to these points as I name them,
Feeling any sensations.
So let us start with the point between your eyebrows,
The point between your eyebrows.
Moving down to the middle of your throat and to your right shoulder,
The joint of your right shoulder.
Right elbow,
Right wrist,
The tip of your right thumb,
The tip of your index finger,
The tip of your middle finger,
The tip of your ring finger,
The tip of your pinky finger,
Your wrist,
Elbow,
Shoulder and the middle of your throat.
Your left shoulder,
Left elbow,
Wrist,
The tip of your thumb,
The tip of your index finger,
The tip of your middle finger,
The tip of your ring finger,
The tip of your pinky finger,
And your wrist,
Elbow,
Shoulder,
The middle of your throat.
And going down into your heart center,
Resting your awareness in your heart center,
The right side of your chest,
Your heart center,
The left side of your chest,
And your heart center,
Your solar plexus,
Your navel,
And the joint of your right hip,
Right knee,
Ankle,
The tip of your big toe,
The tip of your second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe,
And a little toe,
Your ankle,
Knee,
Your right hip,
And your navel center,
Your left hip,
Left knee,
Left ankle,
The tip of your big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe,
And a little toe,
Ankle,
Knee,
Hip,
Navel,
Solar plexus,
Your heart center,
The middle of your throat,
And the point between your eyebrows,
Your boy both eyes,
Both eyebrows,
Both cheeks,
Both ears,
Upper lip,
And the lower lip,
And your whole face at once,
The whole face,
The whole right side of your body,
The whole right side,
The whole left side of your body,
The left side,
And then your whole body at once,
All the points at once.
From this feeling or sensation of the whole body,
Let us take the body on yet another journey,
A journey through the earth.
So in a moment you're going to be hearing sounds,
And I just invite you to let these sounds take you on a journey.
Let them take you wherever your imagination wants to take you.
Feel the sensations on your skin and just set up on this journey through a landscape,
Through a soundscape.
Let them take you wherever your imagination wants to take you.
Let them take you wherever your imagination wants to take you.
Let them take you wherever your imagination wants to take you.
Let them take you wherever your imagination wants to take you.
Let them take you wherever your imagination wants to take you.
Let them take you wherever your imagination wants to take you.
Let them take you wherever your imagination wants to take you.
Let them take you wherever your imagination wants to take you.

Just remembering the seed of intention or a wish that you just planted.
Coming back to that seed in your heart,
Visiting it.
Just imagining once again the situation,
Your wish or intention.
Feeling the emotion.
And slowly letting that seed grow.
And coming back,
Back to the space where you are right now.
With the plants and other nature beings surrounding your body.
Here allies for this journey.
Witnessing.
And then slowly coming back to your body.
Maybe taking a,
Just a little deeper breath than before.
Feeling your body once again.
And exploring any little movement,
Possibility.
Maybe starting with your fingers and your wrists and your toes and ankles.
And then just stretching your arms and legs like a cat after a delicious nap.
Maybe hugging your knees,
Bringing them up to your chest.
To release your lower back.
And very gently just moving from left to right,
Just rolling and giving your lower back a little massage.
And then just coming to one side.
Resting there for just a bit.
Noticing how you feel.
If there's any sensations in your body or anything else that comes up.
And when the time feels right for you,
Just open your eyes back again.
And allow yourself some time to get out of the practice and fully return.
There is no need to rush,
No need to talk.
Just being for a couple more minutes.
And so I'm gonna leave you in this space after the practice,
Enjoying a couple of more minutes of silence.
And I would just like to invite us for yet another thing,
A last invitation.
To do a random act of kindness in one of the coming days or weeks.
Something nice and caring for someone else or for the planet.
Without expecting anything in return.
Just for the kindness to spread.
