Welcome.
This is a great meditation for before a meeting or perhaps a presentation.
Find a comfortable position sitting up tall if you can.
And if it feels good,
Maybe gently close your eyes.
Or soften your gaze.
And take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
And then exhale that fully through your mouth.
Again,
Breathe in.
And go ahead and let it go.
Before you step into this meeting,
This presentation,
Conversation,
Or decision.
Just give yourself permission to arrive right here.
Right now.
Feel the feet grounded beneath you.
Feel the support of the chair.
The floor underneath you,
The earth beneath you.
Right now,
You're here.
You're present.
You're grounded.
You're relaxed.
Take another slow breath in.
And as you exhale,
Release the need to have all the answers.
Release the need to prove yourself.
Release the need to control how.
Everything unfolds.
And just come back to what you know.
Come back to who you are.
You have experience.
You have wisdom.
You have a voice.
And you belong in the room.
Take a nice big inhale in and imagine yourself walking into this next moment with calm and confidence.
Your shoulders are relaxed.
Your breath is steady.
Your mind is clear.
Focus on being the observer.
You don't need to rush.
You can listen.
You can pause.
You can take your time before responding.
And maybe just trust yourself.
Very quietly in your mind.
Silently repeat the following.
I am grounded.
I am capable.
I trust myself.
I can speak with clarity and confidence.
I can listen with curiosity and intention.
I do not need to prove my worth.
I simply need to be present.
Take another breath in.
And slowly let it go.
Continue to feel yourself grounded.
With the Earth beneath you.
And maybe just roll your shoulders and create a little more space through the chest.
Through your heart.
You are grounded.
And open.
Confident,
And curious.
Strong.
And calm.
Take a big inhale in.
And on your exhale,
Just gently open your eyes.
Ugh.
And take this version of you.
Into the room.
