Find a comfortable seat.

Let your shoulders stack right over your hips,

The crown of your head straight up from your tailbone.

We'll take a moment to connect to the present.

So wherever you are in your breathing,

Let everything out.

And then take a deep breath in.

Open your mouth.

Again,

Breathe in.

Longer exhale.

And then start to let your breath become natural.

Gentle flows in and out through the nose.

And begin to notice the sensations of this moment.

A slight cooling sensation on your breath in around the nostrils,

Your upper lip.

And a gentle warmer sensation on your breath out.

The gentle rise and fall of your belly.

Light lift in your chest and your shoulders.

The touch of the air on your skin.

The touch of your clothes on your skin.

All qualities of this concrete present.

The only true time.

Notice any other sounds in your environment.

Any smells.

All qualities that make up this experience.

Connect your attention to the throat area.

Just above your collarbone.

To the center of your throat.

Begin to loosen up this area.

We'll start with a gentle hum of the om sound.

Three syllables A U M.

Symbolizing the beginning,

Middle,

All there is in the end,

All in one.

This whole experience of the light that shines behind us all.

A gentle hum.

A gentle hum to loosen up the throat area.

We may find our voice together.

We may then.

Again.

Start to let your breath become natural again.

With an open throat connecting heart and mind.

To communicate with the world.

To share your insight.

To share your experience.

Now as you go to show up in the room.

To show up in a relationship.

To show up with your team.

Your clients,

Your customers,

Your patients.

Any way that involves you stepping up to the plate.

To communicate your unique contribution.

Identify the body sensation that comes up anytime you decide to hold your tongue.

What does it feel like?

When you decide to hold back.

Any time you've ever held your tongue.

Identify that body sensation that came along with it.

When you're there and you know you have something to contribute,

Yet you do not gift the world with that thought.

What does that feel like?

The fear that comes up.

When you decide to hold your tongue.

Afraid of judgment.

The fear of not being included.

Not being heard.

The fear of all things that may or may not happen.

Yet you will never know and the world may never benefit.

If you decide to hold back.

If you let this fear keep you silent.

And notice the fear for what it is.

Simply a sensation.

How does it show up for you?

A tense sensation in the belly.

A clamminess or sweaty in the palm of your hands.

A more rapid heartbeat.

A sinking feeling in the stomach.

It's time to detach the story of what might happen from the sensations that occur.

For the imposter trying to keep you safe.

With gentle respect for the intention to keep you safe.

To keep you comfortable where you are.

Respect its good intentions.

And then with respect.

Let it step aside.

Now see the sensations of fear for exactly what they are.

Just sensations.

And now silently make the commitment.

I will communicate my opinions with compassion.

I will communicate boundaries and consequences with compassion.

I will speak up at the table.

Because no one has had my experience.

And no one can provide my unique contribution.

Now make a commitment.

What is one small action that you will take today?

To embed these commitments in your life.

What is one small action you will try on today?

To transcend that sensation of fear.

With respect granted to the imposter.

What step will you take to lead the way?

Understanding fears and tension of keeping you safe.

You are ready to find your voice.

You are ready to speak your truth.

You are ready to lead your life bravely with compassion.

And without attachment to the outcome,

Awards,

Accolades.

Simply because it's your duty to show up.

It's your duty to provide your unique contribution.

You are ready now.

You are ready now.

Gently,

Softly,

Begin to deepen your breath.

Maybe rock your head side to side.

And then when you're ready,

Go ahead and open your eyes.

And get ready to speak your truth.

Don't deny the world of your unique contribution.

You are ready now.
