This is Joe's musical arrangement of a practice poem written by Thich Nhat Hanh. He made it while on a retreat with Thay and the Fourfold Sangha at Plum Village in 2012. Thay invited songwriters to put these words to music, and explained how they could help us find strength and resilience from our spiritual ancestors when we ourselves are feeling unstable in our practice. We can invite the Buddha to breathe for us, to walk for us. Joe found this practice to be very nourishing and helpful.
