Aloha and welcome.
Go ahead and find your position.
And take a moment to mean it.
Not just sitting,
Not just settling,
But arriving.
To feel the weight of your body,
The places where you meet the earth,
Your seat,
Your hands,
Your feet.
You are held right now.
Even if it doesn't always feel this way,
In this moment,
The ground is holding you.
Let that be true.
Close your eyes.
Bring your awareness to the top of your head.
Just notice it.
The scalp.
The skull.
The space just above it.
That slight hum of aliveness.
You are more than a body.
But right now,
We start here.
And letting your awareness pour down slowly.
Like warm water moving across your forehead.
Feel it soften.
The space between your brows.
Release anything you've been figuring out.
Your eyes.
Resting behind closed lids.
Your jaw.
Letting it drop just slightly.
The hinge where you've been holding so much of what you didn't say.
Let it go.
Down through the throat.
The center of your voice.
Your truth.
Your yes.
And your no.
Feel it open.
Into the chest now.
Your heart.
Beating steady.
Faithful.
Relentless.
It has never once asked your permission.
It has never once needed you to believe in it.
To keep going.
What would it mean to trust yourself?
The way your heart trusts you.
Breathe into it.
And feel your ribcage expand.
Front.
Sides.
Your back body.
Which you almost never feel.
The spine.
The shoulder blades.
The place between them where so much is carried.
Soften there.
Down into the belly.
Let it be full.
Let it be round.
Let it stop holding.
The belly.
Those things the mind does not.
Feel it rise on the inhale.
And fall on the exhale.
Like a tide that has been doing this long before you started watching.
Into the hips now.
The pelvis.
The seat of your foundation.
This is where so much of life lives.
The grief.
The longing.
Feel it all.
Don't move past it.
Down the thighs.
The knees.
The long bones of your shins.
Your ankles.
Those quiet,
Faithful hinges.
And your feet.
The soles of your feet.
Every step you have ever taken has moved through here.
Feel the whole body now.
All at once.
As a single field of sensation.
Humming.
Empty.
Present.
You are here.
Completely here.
Now let's change the quality of your breath.
Inhaling through the nose.
Slowly.
Deeply.
Filling from the belly up through the chest all the way to the collarbones.
And hold it for just a moment at the top.
And exhale.
Slowly.
Completely.
Like you're breathing out everything that no longer belongs to you.
Again.
Inhale.
Fill yourself up.
Feel yourselves wake.
Feel the space inside you expand.
Hold.
And exhale.
Long.
Surrendered.
One more.
This time as you inhale,
Imagine you are breathing in possibility.
Not a concept.
An energy.
A frequency.
Something luminous moving into the body.
Hold it in.
And as you exhale,
Release the version of you who didn't believe that you could have it.
Let them go.
They were doing their best.
But they're not who you're becoming.
There is a version of you who has been waiting.
Not waiting for permission.
Not waiting to be chosen.
Waiting for you to remember the one who doesn't shrink before you enter a room.
Who doesn't preemptively apologize for your presence.
Who doesn't quietly calculate how much you're allowed to want before someone finds it too much.
This version of you receives.
Not because you earned it perfectly.
Not because you finally fixed everything.
Because you decided you were someone who receives.
That's it.
That's the whole secret.
Not a ten step process.
Not a trauma free childhood.
A decision.
A decision made in the body.
Felt in the cells.
Repeated until the nervous system believed it.
That's what we're doing here today.
Bring your awareness back to the center of your chest.
Your heart.
And I want you to imagine,
Not just think,
But feel.
What it would be like to be someone who is fully open to receiving.
What does your body feel like?
Do you take up more space?
Feel that.
Let your body expand slightly.
Shoulders back.
Chest open.
Spine tall.
Do you breathe differently?
Take a breath as that version of you.
Deeper.
Slower.
Unafraid.
What does this version of you know that you've been forgetting?
This version knows that you're not a burden.
This version knows that your desires are not too much.
This version knows that abundance is not a reward for suffering.
It is a frequency that you get to inhabit.
Feel that frequency now.
Not as an idea.
As a sensation in the body.
Maybe it feels like warmth in the chest.
Maybe it's a lightness behind the sternum.
Maybe it's a quiet expansion,
Like something that was clenched finally opening.
Stay with it.
Breathe into it.
Let it move down into the belly.
Into the hips.
Down the legs and into the soles of your feet,
Like roots made of light growing down into the earth.
This is who you are becoming.
Not someday.
Right now.
In this body.
In this breath.
In this moment that is already rewriting yourselves.
I want you to bring to mind something that you might have been wanting.
Something real.
Something that matters.
Don't shrink it.
Don't edit it down to something safer.
Bring the real one.
And now,
Instead of reaching for it,
Open to it.
Feel the difference.
Reaching is effortful.
Grasping,
Contracted.
Opening is spacious,
Magnetic,
Trusting.
Let your hands rest open in your lap,
Palms facing up.
This is the posture of receiving.
Not demanding.
Not convincing the universe you deserve it.
Just open.
And feel in your chest,
In your body,
What it feels like to have it.
Not the relief of finally getting it after a long struggle.
Just the ordinary,
Natural ease of someone who simply has it.
Who moved through your day expecting goodness.
Who said thank you before the thing arrived because you already knew,
At the level of your body,
That it was on its way.
Stay here.
Let this become familiar.
Let your nervous system learn this as home.
And take a slow,
Deliberate breath.
And as you breathe out,
Make a quiet agreement with yourself.
Not a goal.
Not a promise you'll break by Tuesday.
An agreement.
I am willing to become someone who receives.
That's enough.
That single sentence felt in the body is enough.
Because you don't have to have it all figured out.
You don't have to be healed all the way.
You don't have to stop being afraid.
You just have to be willing.
Willing to open.
Willing to let something good find you.
Willing to stop turning away from what you actually want.
Because some old part of you decided it wasn't safe to want it.
That part was protecting you.
But it's not the whole story.
Begin to feel the room around you.
The temperature of the air.
The weight of your body.
Grounded.
Present.
Here.
Wiggle your fingers slowly.
Take one full breath.
In through the nose.
Out through the mouth.
And when your eyes open,
Let them open differently.
Let them open as that version.
The version of you who receives.
The version of you who trusts.
The version of you who knows.
At the level of your bones.
That you were never meant to be small.
You are that version.
You have always been that version.
Welcome home.
