Hope

“Hope” is the ninth Quiet Expanse (new age/neoclassical/spiritual) release from Canadian based/South African born & US based multi-instrumentalist/producers Jim Gelcer and David Vito Gregoli. The piece begins with a cheerful vibraphone melody set over a synth bed. This is contrasted with a languid dulcimer and cello interlude, over Mellotron and low drum. The two sections intertwine, leaving a beautiful feeling of hope.

The perfect setting for listening to Gelcer’s ‘Hope’: early morning sun streaming in as the freshly bloomed leaves of aspen trees glisten and dance to the Colorado winds. I really enjoyed this beautiful piece; as I do all of Jim Gelcer’s work. Another beauty, Jim!
