So find a spot to sit where you feel comfortable and held,
And take a couple deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
With each exhale,
Focus on letting go just a little bit more.
Feeling your shoulders drop,
Your jaw release,
Belly relax.
Just feel yourself slowing down and coming into this moment that you set aside to connect with yourself.
Now I want you to hold in your mind this next best version of you.
You're heading out to meet this next best version of you.
Imagine yourself opening the door to the place.
It can be a coffee shop or meeting them with somewhere wherever feels like a place where that next best version of you would be.
And imagine yourself opening that door coming in to find this next best version of you.
And as you come up to see them,
Imagine how are they sitting?
What are they wearing?
How do they receive you?
And just breathe in for a moment everything that you receive from them,
Their energy,
How they make you feel.
Have an image of them in your mind.
You sit down across from them and you start to share all of the things that you are trying to shed,
All of the things you're trying to let go of.
In your mind,
Just let those things come up right now as you share them with this next best version of you.
They listen,
They acknowledge you,
And then they share all the ways that they have shifted that,
That they have shed that,
And all the ways that you are going to feel and respond and show up in the future.
And as they speak,
You feel their energy that they give off in every cell of your body.
And your confidence that you can get from where you are now to where they are just grows.
And they tell you more and more about all of these aspects of your life and of you.
You can ask them anything in this space,
Any questions that you have.
Just listen to whatever comes up.
And then this next best version of you,
They share wisdom on how you can get from where you are now to where they are,
How you can start showing up as this next best version of you right now,
Even though your current circumstances might not yet have changed.
They offer you that wisdom now.
Just accept and breathe into whatever it is they offer you.
And then you get up to leave,
Taking this one last look at this next best version of you and really breathing into their energy.
And you head out back into your day,
Knowing that at any time you can come back to this space,
You can come back to them.
You can come back to the wisdom that this part of you can offer in whatever paths and journeys and crossroads you might find yourself in.
Take a minute to offer gratitude for that wisdom that's inside of you.
And to try to put on that next best version of you,
Like a cloak that covers you.
And step into your day as that next best version of you in whatever way you can.
