Welcome to this meditation.
My name is Jeremiah.
And this practice is for the man who has been carrying it all alone.
And has started to believe that that is just how it has to be.
If that is you.
You are in the right place.
Notice.
Even now.
You are not doing this alone.
My voice is here.
Other men in this very moment are listening to these same words.
And you are already less alone than you were a minute ago.
So find a seated position.
Relaxed.
And wake.
And let your eyes close.
When you are ready.
Breathe in through the nose.
And breathe out through the mouth,
Slowly.
Again into the nose.
And out through the mouth.
Once more,
Fill the body with air as you breathe in.
And let everything release as you breathe out through the exhale.
And let the breath move on its own.
You are not mayonaising it.
And is carrying you.
And feel the ground beneath you.
Notice it requires no effort from you to be held.
The Earth holds you whether or not you ask.
You are already being supported.
Right now.
Without doing a thing.
Many men live behind a wall.
They learned somewhere that to be a man is to handle it yourself.
To not need.
Did not ask.
To carry the weight in silence and call it strength.
And it's just lonely behind that wall.
Notice if you know that loneliness.
And take a breath.
And let yourself acknowledge something most men never say out loud.
This has been heavy.
And I have been carrying a lot of it alone.
Just let that be true for a moment.
No shame in it.
No guilt in it.
Just the truth.
Then I want you to remember something.
Not a single man who has ever moved forward in life did it entirely alone.
The strongest men you admire were held.
Mentored.
Support it.
Witnessed.
The wall was never strength.
Willingness to be seen.
That is the strength.
So in this quiet.
Imagine for a moment setting the weight down.
Just for now.
Imagine you did not need to have to hold it all by yourself.
Imagine other men beside you.
Who will understand.
Who have carried their own versions.
Of the same thing.
And feel what happens in the body when you are not alone with it.
That feeling,
That loosening.
That is what connection does.
It was always available.
The wall just hid it.
Rest here.
In the breath.
In the truth that you are held.
The quiet knowing that you do not have to do this by yourself.
As we come back.
Carry this with you.
Reaching out is not weakness.
Letting yourself be known is not a burden to others.
The men in your life are often waiting for some permission.
Even the same permission as you are.
Be the one who reaches out.
Be the one who is willing to be reached out to.
And deepen the breath.
Returning movement to the body.
Than when you are ready.
Open your eyes.
Welcome back,
Brother.
Reach out to someone today.
And remember.
You do not need or have to carry.
Any of this.
All alone.
Thank you for meditating with me.
