Hello,

And thank you for joining me on this peaceful walk along the beach to reconnect with nature,

Stillness,

And the healing power of the ocean.

Ease your soul and relax your mind.

This meditation uses the colors,

Sights,

Smells,

And sounds of one of nature's most powerful energy,

The ocean.

So close your eyes and enjoy.

Let your imagination allow you to reach the present moment free of any stress.

First,

Find a spot to relax where you'll be free of distractions and enjoy your walk on the beach.

For a few moments before we begin,

And if it's comfortable for you,

Close your eyes and breathe at a normal pace.

Relax your body and mind with each breath that you take.

Concentrate on only your breath.

It's early evening.

The sun is dipping lower on the horizon,

Casting a warm golden glow.

You step out of your home,

Excited for a quiet walk.

This is your time,

A place where stress melts away with the rhythm of the sea.

The first thing you notice are the sounds of flying birds.

Mostly ski seagulls fill the air.

The sounds they make are unmistakable,

And they are just as excited as you.

It looks like it's feeding time for them.

Low tide means plenty to eat.

In the water's distance,

You watch them dive bomb into the water,

Making many splashes pulling today's evening dinner.

With each step as you proceed,

You look down at the steps of your home.

They lead directly into the sand.

The wooden steps creak a bit.

They are sturdy wood,

But have been beaten up by the salty sea air,

But stand strong.

You get to the bottom of the steps,

Flip off your flip flops onto the sand next to the steps.

You take a deep breath in and smell the sea.

It's unlike any other smell on earth.

Salty smell mixed with a dampness from earthy wet sand.

It's slightly humid air fills your lungs.

You smile as if it's your first time.

This is your experience,

A time to spend with yourself and share it with the vastness of the ocean.

You gaze out and notice the beach is completely empty,

And this gives you a sense of extreme peace.

The solitude is welcoming.

A soothing warm breeze hits your face as if the ocean welcomes you.

You hear nearby palm trees leaving slight whisperies.

There's an easy short walk to the water's edge,

And you go for it.

It's only a short distance,

Maybe 50 yards.

It's challenging in the heavy loose cool sand.

It's not too difficult,

And you press on.

You make it down to the matted down wet sand area.

It's best for you to walk on.

As you walk in the wet sand,

You notice how your feet leave brief impressions that slowly fade back into the earth as if the beach remembers,

Then lets go.

You stroll forward at a slow pace to enjoy the moment.

You look up at the sun.

It's peaking bright sunlight and beams through the lavender and orange glowing clouds.

It's bright.

The water reflection resembles a million mirrors on the water as you squint to look at it.

It's near sunset,

But not quite time.

Finding a perfect spot is easy.

A few minutes click by,

And you take it all in.

Calm seas today.

The sound of the water is pleasant as it lightly splashes along the coastline.

This adds to the relaxed moment.

You find your spot.

You let the cool water ripple around your sandy feet,

And you slightly sink into the sand a bit.

You look to your right,

And then back to your left,

And let your mind gather the magnitude of the ocean.

Similar to your feet in the sand,

You feel grounded.

Your mind is empty,

Free of any thoughts.

Simply nothingness in your mind.

Enjoy the present.

It's time.

The sun begins to dissipate slowly and smoothly under the horizon.

It's powerful light begins to lose its intensity as the ocean swallows it up.

The million mirrors turn from squinting white reflecting to sharing the colors of the clouds in the sky.

Shades of dark purple and blue only the sun,

Clouds,

And nature can make.

Gratitude fills your heart in the moment.

You feel peace,

Love,

And joy flowing through your body.

You are whole.

You are here.

This moment is perfect.

As darkness settles in,

A few stars begin to shimmer above.

It's time to head back.

You feel different now.

Calm,

Grounded,

Relaxed.

Your soul is filled with joy and love.

You return to the steps and find your flip-flops exactly where you left them.

You pause for one last deep breath of ocean air and step back into your space.

Refreshed,

Peaceful,

And completely at ease.

You give thanks to the beach for giving you this moment and then you thank yourself.

I hope you enjoyed this meditation.

You're welcome back at the beach anytime.

And always remember,

Meditation is just the beginning.
