This rhythm therapy practice is intended to entrain the brain to a mid Theta brain wave state. This is an inward facing, very deep state of relaxation and calm. The practice is not led, but is just the drumming and support. Listen to this on quite a low volume as you meditate, relax, or lay down to sleep. You don't need to listen directly to the drumming but could play it in the background as well! I hope you enjoy the practice!

I read there’s scientific evidence that sounds like indigenous peoples drumming, Celtic music, etc ease peoples perception of pain. I figure if it helps people undergoing cancer treatment or other physically exhausting Western medical therapies, it can and DID put my mind at ease and lessened my chronic pain, so I could actually enjoy my shower and wind down time before bed. Grateful.

Did not expect to be in the zone. Got very relaxed and even fell asleep which is not typical for me. Thank you.

This was fun. At first I found it calming in a sort of annoying way, but then, as it progressed, I fell into its spell. And it was fun. In my mind I saw a fire and belly dancers telling a story with their hips. In my body, I felt pure relaxation as the beating in my ears became vibrations spread through me and I lost all tension. This was different. It was fun. It is a great meditation. Thanks for sharing this.
