Welcome.
Take a moment to settle into a comfortable position.
Allow your body to soften.
Allow yourself to arrive exactly as you are.
If you are listening to this meditation,
There is a possibility that a part of you has been carrying fear.
Fear about your body.
Fear about your health.
Fear about something happening that could change your life.
Maybe you've been searching for answers.
Checking symptoms.
Thinking through possibilities.
Trying to predict every outcome so you can feel prepared.
And before we begin.
.
.
I want to remind you of something important.
Your desire to feel safe is deeply human.
Your mind is not trying to harm you.
It is trying to protect you.
Sometimes anxiety is simply our brain searching for certainty in a place where certainty does not exist.
So today,
Rather than fighting that fear,
We are going to create space for it.
We are going to remind your mind and body,
I can care for myself without living in fear.
I can acknowledge uncertainty without being consumed by it.
I can trust myself through whatever comes.
Begin by taking a slow breath in.
And slowly release.
Again breathing in.
And letting go.
Allow your attention to move into your body.
Notice where you feel tension.
Maybe in your chest.
Your stomach.
Your shoulders.
Your jaw.
Without judging it.
Simply notice.
Your body has been trying to communicate with you.
In today instead of responding with fear.
You can respond with compassion.
Place a hand over your heart if that feels comfortable.
And silently remind yourself.
I am here with myself.
I am listening.
I am caring for myself.
Take another slow breath.
Your body is not your enemy.
Your body is the place that carries you through this life.
It allows you to experience connection.
Movement,
Love.
Joy.
Growth.
Even when your body feels uncertain.
It is still worthy of kindness.
Now bring awareness to the thoughts that may have been creating fear.
The what ifs.
The possibilities.
The scenarios your mind creates in attempt to protect you.
Imagine placing each worry into a small container.
Not because the worry doesn't matter.
But because you don't need to carry it every second.
You can acknowledge the thought.
And choose to set it down for now.
You can care about your future without abandoning your present.
Take a breath here.
There is a difference between caring for your health and being controlled by fear.
Caring sounds like.
I will listen to my body.
I will seek support when I need it.
I will make choices that nourish me.
Fear sounds like.
I must know everything right now.
I must control every outcome.
I cannot be okay unless I have certainty.
Today we practice returning to care.
Returning to trust.
Returning to the present moment.
Because the truth is,
None of us can control every possibility.
No amount of worrying can guarantee that nothing difficult will ever happen.
But worrying can steal the life you are currently living.
In your life is happening now.
Not in the future scenario your mind is imagining.
Right here,
Right now.
You are breathing.
You are here.
You are supported.
Now imagine yourself meeting your future self.
The version of you who has walked through challenges.
The version of you who has learned.
Adapted.
Grown stronger.
Imagine that future self placing a hand on your shoulder and saying,
You do not have to figure everything out today.
You do not have to live every possible future before it happens.
You can trust yourself.
You can handle what comes.
Because you have handled things before.
Think of all the moments you once believed you wouldn't get through.
Moments that felt overwhelming.
Moments where you didn't know the answer.
And yet here you are.
Still learning.
Still growing.
Still be coming.
You are more capable than fear wants you to believe.
Now bring your attention back to your breath.
With each inhale,
Imagine receiving peace.
And with each exhale,
Releasing the need to control every outcome.
Inhale,
I am safe in this moment.
Exhale.
I release what I cannot control.
Inhale,
I trust myself.
Exhale.
I allow life to unfold.
Your health matters.
Your body matters.
Your care matters.
But your life is also meant to be lived.
You are allowed to experience joy while uncertainty exists.
You are allowed to laugh,
Connect,
Dream,
Create,
Rest.
You do not have to wait until every fear disappears before you begin living.
Life is not something we start after we achieve perfect certainty.
Life is happening now.
And whatever comes.
You will meet it one moment at a time.
With support.
With wisdom.
With compassion.
With yourself.
Take one final deep breath in.
And slowly release.
Carry this reminder with you.
I can care for myself without fearing myself.
I can honor my body without living in panic.
I can trust that I am capable of navigating whatever life brings.
Thank you for sharing this moment with yourself.
May you move forward with more peace,
More presence,
And a deeper trust in your ability to handle this journey.
Namaste.
