Dear Heavenly Father,
I stand before you humbled and in awe of your majesty.
You are the Alpha and the Omega,
The beginning and the end.
The one who knows every detail of my life and holds every moment in your hands.
Today,
Lord,
I lay down all that weighs upon my heart.
All my fears,
My uncertainties,
My desires,
And even my dreams,
I surrender them to you.
Trusting that your ways are higher than mine and your plans far exceed anything I could imagine.
Teach me,
Lord,
To let go of control,
To release my grip on what I think I need,
And instead to embrace the life you've prepared for me.
I confess that I often wrestle with doubt,
Questioning the path ahead,
Wondering if I am strong enough to endure the trials that come my way.
But your word reminds me that I am not alone,
And I do not walk this journey by my own strength,
But by yours.
Father,
When the storms of life rage and the winds of uncertainty threaten to shake my faith,
Be my firm foundation.
When my heart grows weary and my soul feels heavy,
Be the rest I so desperately seek.
When I am weak,
Remind me that your power is made perfect in my weakness.
I lean upon you,
My rock and my refuge,
Knowing that you will sustain me through every valley and lead me to the mountaintop in your perfect timing.
Lord,
I ask that you shape my heart to reflect yours.
Fill me with your peace that surpasses all understanding,
Your joy that is unshaken by circumstances,
And your love that knows no bounds.
Teach me to walk in step with your spirit,
To listen for your voice above the noise of this world,
And to trust in your guiding hand even when I cannot see what lies ahead.
I surrender my ambitions,
My worries,
My expectations,
And my fears,
Laying them at your feet with open hands and a willing heart.
Let your will be done in my life,
And may I find rest in knowing that you are sovereign over all things.
I do not need to fear the unknown,
For you go before me.
I do not need to carry the weight of my burdens,
For you invite me to cast them upon you.
I do not need to rely on my own strength,
For you are my strength.
Thank you,
Lord,
For your faithfulness.
Thank you for never leaving me,
For always loving me,
And for holding me close in every season.
I will praise you in the valley and on the mountaintop,
In the stillness and in the storm,
Knowing that you are God,
My Father,
My Savior,
My Redeemer.
I surrender,
Lord.
Have your way in my life.
In Jesus' name I pray.
Amen.
