Dear Heavenly Father,
Our Gracious Creator and Redeemer,
We come before you on this Mother's Day with hearts overflowing with gratitude and reverence.
In your infinite love you have bestowed upon us the immeasurable gift of motherhood,
A divine calling that mirrors your compassion and nurtures our very souls.
We lift our voices in prayer,
Thanking you for the biological mothers who have carried us within their wombs,
For through their strength and sacrifice we are formed and molded as works of your art,
Just as your word reminds us in Psalm 139 that we are fearfully and wonderfully made.
We recognize that these mothers have been instruments of your creative power,
Their love echoing the tenderness of your care.
Lord,
We also honor the adoptive mothers,
Whose hearts have been opened wide by your boundless mercy.
These women have embraced the children you have entrusted to them,
Not bound by the ties of blood,
But by the unbreakable bond of love.
Their willingness to nurture,
Protect,
And guide reflects the selfless love of Christ,
A love that sees every soul as precious and worthy.
May you bless them abundantly for their courageous acts of compassion,

We lift up in prayer the spiritual mothers,
