Heavenly Father,

As we come before you today,

We lay down our burdens,

Our worries and our distractions at the door.

We enter your presence with hearts open and minds focused solely on you.

Help us to leave behind the baggage that weighs us down,

So we can worship you in spirit and in truth.

Lord,

We come with anticipation,

Expecting to encounter you.

We are eager to hear your voice and feel your presence.

We believe in your promises,

Knowing that they are true and that you are faithful to fulfill them.

We trust that you will work in our lives,

Providing healing and guiding us through every moment.

Transform us,

O God,

As we worship you.

Mold our hearts and minds,

Renewing us so that we leave this place different than we came.

Let us be open to the changes you wish to bring about in us,

Making us more like your Son Jesus Christ.

We engage fully in this time of worship,

Not as passive observers,

But as active participants.

We lift our voices in song,

Our hands in prayer and our hearts in devotion,

Knowing that you are here with us,

Actively involved in every aspect of our worship.

Fill us with gratitude and joy,

Lord.

May our hearts overflow with thankfulness as we experience the peace and joy of being in your presence.

We come ready to receive your love and grace,

And to respond with our whole beings.

Gracious God,

Remind us that we are part of a larger community of believers.

As we worship,

Let us also hold in our hearts our brothers and sisters around the world who gather in your name.

May we be united in our praise and adoration of you,

Transcending language,

Culture and distance.

Let our collective worship rise up as one voice to honour and glorify you.

We pray for those who are struggling in their faith,

That they may find strength and encouragement in their time of need.

Equip us to be vessels of your love and support,

Reaching out to those who are lost,

Weary or in pain.

Let our worship be a beacon of hope and a reflection of your boundless compassion.

Lord,

We ask for your guidance and wisdom in our daily lives.

As we leave this place of worship,

May the lessons we learn and the faith we express here guide our actions and decisions throughout the week.

Empower us to be living testimonies of your grace,

Mercy and love in all that we do.

Heavenly Father,

We acknowledge your sovereignty and the greatness of your love.

We thank you for the privilege of coming into your presence and worshipping you freely.

May our worship today transform us,

Equipping us to serve you more faithfully and love others as you have loved us.

In Jesus' name,

Amen.
