In this meditation,
I will guide you through some gentle breath,
A relaxing body scan and a visualization experience.
I want you to lie down on your back,
Placing your hands over your stomach and bringing your attention to the breath.
Letting the stomach rise and again fall,
As you are becoming aware of your natural inward and outward breathing.
Then deepening and lengthening this inward breath.
Feeling how the body begins to receive more air.
And then equally letting go,
Releasing the breath and feeling the body sink into the ground.
There is no expectation here.
This moment in time is for you.
You are held here in my voice and sound.
And here we are,
Arriving in this presence.
May all that arises in this meditation be exactly as it needs to be.
All is welcome.
Feeling to soften the face,
Noticing the breath,
Breathing into the forehead.
Feeling the forehead relax.
Feeling the drishti point in the middle of the forehead,
Your inner vision just bringing simple awareness to this area.
Noticing your ears listening.
Your nose breathing.
Your cheeks and your lips softening and relaxing.
Completely relaxing all of the head.
Feeling the weight of your head begin to let go of holding itself.
Now sense your feet and squeeze them as tight as you can.
And release.
Feel your feet become heavy and relax.
Allowing your breath to anchor your entire body into the ground.
Realising the places where your body meets the ground.
And bringing your awareness to your hands placed over your stomach.
Allowing the stomach to relax even more with each breath.
Noticing any knots in the stomach.
And sending the breath completely dispersing away all knots and all tightness in the stomach.
Noticing the chest as it rises and falls.
Noticing the shoulders and the neck.
Through your mind's eye bring your attention to your heart.
Imagine that there is a beautiful single point of light within your heart.
As you begin to witness this point.
Notice that it expands and surrounds your entire body.
This beautiful white light pervades your mind and your thoughts.
And radiates outward from where you are laying down.
This energy of light is known as Shakti or Prana.
What is the energy radiating out from your being?
Pulsating from the core of your being.
That which you truly are behind thought.
Behind emotion.
Behind the mind.
Behind the body.
I am pure awareness.
I am the lightness of presence.
I am the soul.
And becoming aware of this energy of light.
And resting and knowing there is healing here.
This miracle of light that you are deep down within.
Feel this now.
I am connected to all things.
I am connected to all of life.
I am connected to all other beings.
I am one with the source of all of creation.
Through my heart I come to experience the source of life.
I rest in the source of life.
We are now beginning to simply become aware of your true self.
Your true self is always connected to the source.
There are so many names to describe the source.
You are a soul.
You are a soul.
I am a soul.
And here we are.
Dwelling in this place of awareness.
There is a subtle sense of peace.
The foundation of my being is peace.
In this presence we are behind time.
We are behind form.
I am the witness of my body.
I am the witness of my mind.
And I allow myself to go deeper within.
I go deeper behind all the phenomenon of this world.
I dwell in the presence of spirit.
I dwell in the presence of the spirit.
Love pervades my consciousness.
I am found in love.
I am home in love.
I let go of my thinking mind and open my heart to eternal life.
The source of love.
I dwell in the source of love.
I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go.
I will never leave you until I have done what I promised you.
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you.
He will never leave you nor forsake you.
To not be afraid.
To not be discouraged.
You will always in his presence in this light.
And you will be delivered through this life with grace.
