Lezione 1
Getting Here, Now - Acceptance and Trust
In this class we will look at settling into the present moment, as quickly as we comfortably can. We will use the Sleeping Dog analogy to help you more deeply understand the principle of Acceptance. You will more readily begin to unwrap stories from around the present moment to see “what is”, making room to move into a space of trust - in yourself, your senses and your capacity to make a difference.

Problems Do Not Disappear, They Are Transformed - Opportunity
In today's class, we will look at how problems are transformed by finding opportunity for personal growth and development. Problems will become a compass that points us towards areas in our life where we can gain control through cultivating skills, strengths and virtues. We will look at how our greatest opportunity for control is through choicefulness of thought and response.

See, Feel, Care, Sit - Compassion First
When times are tough it’s normal for strong emotions to bubble up and fill our attention. Our first step in settling into calm is to offer kindness and compassion to soothe the inner child who has been hurt or scared. We will journey through a 4-step process to See, Feel, Care and Sit with our emotions. We will gently process our emotions so they can become integrated and then inform our choices and actions.

It Just Is - Releasing Good and Bad
Our past experiences often wrap our current situations in a story, or judgement, which keeps us from seeing the moment as it is. This judgement, if not noticed and unwrapped, will lead to actions that don’t match our current goals in the moment. Seeing the good and bad in our life is a skill which allows space for the practice of 'Letting Go' and allows the ebbs and flows of life to be our teacher and for peace and contentment to grow within.

Your Body As a Compass - Body Talk
The body is our first messenger of threat, stress and change. In this class, we will learn to hear the body more sensitively and how to decode its messages. For when we can hear it’s messages we can make more informed decisions to help ourselves in challenging times.

Know Your Rhythms - Energy and Capacity
We each have our own rhythm and capacity for handling stress and energy. In this class, we will learn more about our own energy blueprint. That is, what increases and decreases our capacity for work and recovery. We will move closer to self-mastery by looking at the components of our life that help us adapt and those that take energy away from us. Neither are good nor bad, but by seeing them we will add choice to help us survive and thrive in uncertain times.

Setting Strong Intentions - Creation vs. Chaos
During stressful times, it is not uncommon to have our circumstances dictate how we feel, which dictates how we think and then act. This reflects the chaos of the world into our body and minds. We call this a World-Body-Mind cycle. Our choices will reflect that chaos and our outcomes will not be what we intendied.
Alternatively, today we will describe the other cycle called the Mind-Body-World cycle. This cycle is where we use our mind to create strong intentions that are conveyed into the world by our purposeful actions. Outcomes will reflect our intentions. Calm and inner peace will grow.

Why Are You Here? - Purpose Is The Way Forward
Having a clear sense of Purpose in life can insulate us from stress and give us a strong sense of calm when uncertainty and chaos surround us. There are many physical and mental benefits of choosing a meaningful Purpose. We will look at a two factor equation for Purpose. Creating value and connection with others will move us towards calmer and more centred days.

What Matters To You? - Values
In times of stress and uncertainty we can often be unclear about which choice to make. In today's class, we will cultivate a sense of what matters most to us in order to create a Values Filter - a way for us to make meaningful choices. Knowing what choice is right for you will create ease and inner calm even in the most uncertain and stressful times.

What's Your Next Purposeful Step? - Action Builds Outcomes
Action defuses the Fight or Flight response by telling your brain that you are taking purposeful motion against the proverbial tiger hiding in the bushes. In other words, the mind-body cycle culminates in purposeful action. In this class, we will ask “What is your next purposeful action step?” and decode what it means in building the outcomes you want in your life.
