The mind of an angel.
The mind of an angel is a place of rest.
Thoughts arise in the mind of an angel naturally and easily.
They are thoughts that seem insignificant and yet they're the basis of visions that stretch way into the distance.
Just as the sea is constantly there,
But its waves move in and out,
So too the intelligence of an angel is constantly settled and deep.
But the thoughts in its mind rise and fall like the waves.
The mind of an angel moves tunefully.
It works at the heart of all that is physical and yet it is unbound by it.
Instead,
The mind of an angel is bowed to.
Where an angel's mind is at work,
Possessions,
Circumstances,
Even the elements,
Softly answer its needs and serve it.
So that if you come close to an angel's mind,
You too feel a comfort that is born of everything you want,
Being there,
Without your asking.
The mind of an angel makes its own body glow,
And those of others too,
However tired and ill they may be.
The mind of an angel is a special resource of love that refreshes.
It appeals to old and young alike,
As the lap of the waves do,
Even to those uneasy in deep water.
The waves in a human mind grow huge sometimes,
Whipped up by the wind,
The rain,
The confusion.
But the waves of an angel's mind are constant and unchangingly soft.
Even the most frightened of individuals can approach with an open heart,
Because an angel's mind will never suddenly turn.
It continues,
Regardless of who is there,
Stretching out suddenly to no one,
Liking not one more than another.
But if you're sad,
An angel's mind can fold around your sorrow and take it clean away.
An angel's mind is innocent.
It therefore entertains,
For the thoughts it has see the beautiful incongruity in everything.
See the contrast between the future and the crazy present,
And yet feel nothing of the pain of unaccomplishment.
It is a mind complete,
Living in an incomplete present,
And so it's a mind filled with laughter.
Come close to the mind of an angel,
And you too can laugh at your weaknesses,
Because behind an angel's laughter is faith in future achievement.
It's never the laughter of unkindness,
But of reassurance,
Which says,
Soon,
Soon you'll be free.
