02 Travelling Beyond

About this track - A talk on the basic technique of Raja Yoga and a series of four meditation commentaries. Take a journey, firstly to the centre of the inner being and from there to a new dimension beyond the material world, to the Home of rest and sweet silence, where we can establish a connection with the Supreme Soul.

Meditation, Day 2. This is a meditation which will take you from the state of soul consciousness into a stage where you can travel into a very high place having left the body behind. And so once again sit naturally with the eyes open and prepare to turn the self within. I feel myself going deep inside. I tune with myself. I become aware of myself as a soul, A being of light, A being of peace and love and bliss. I feel myself withdrawing from the body becoming so subtle. I am concentrated into a tiny point of pure being and then I lift myself off the body. I am outside the body in a state of total freedom at one with myself. I let myself fly far away from the room upwards and outwards beyond. All thoughts of the world are receding. I turn the attention away from the senses. I am no longer aware of the material world. But I am coming into another dimension. I have gone beyond the pull of the planet. I am out in the world of space flying so quickly. I pass through into a world of light. A light that is of a different order from the light of the sun. Not like the light of the moon. But a light that is cool, A bright golden light. All around me there is light upon light. Stretching miles and miles beyond distance. It is a dimension of total silence. And I am a light within that dimension of light. I have reached my home, The ultimate place, The highest region. The world of nirvana. The sweet silence home. This is the soul world. And all around me are beings of light, Tiny sparks of conscious energy. My brothers, In a wondrous constellation. Under the apex there is a light, An extraordinary light. A tiny point of light. Infinitesimally small. But there is a strong, Strong pull. A magnet draws me. And I go close to that light. And I find myself in touch with the purest being. I am connected with the supreme soul, The highest among all souls. The father, The mother. The one whom I had searched for birth after birth. This is Shiv Baba. Baba the ocean. And that tiny point of light blossoms into an ocean of infinite vastness of love. A huge light envelops me and I am shrouded by that love. I absorb that love and there is total peace vibrating all around. I become filled with that love. I become part of that light. It is as if there is no difference between I and the supreme. We are joined, Connected in union and I the soul am getting filled with that might and that peace and this love is cleaning the soul. I become energized. And like a bird I gently glide myself once again towards the earth. I return to this body, Totally filled.
