
Peace Meditation

In this guided meditation, you will invite more peace into your life as we call your energy back, fill in holes that were created by giving your energy away, and release energy that is no longer yours. You deserve peace, and it is available to you always. Music track: Coniferous Forest by orangery

Make yourself comfortable in whatever position you like right now.
You can be lying down,
You can be sitting,
Just make sure that you are supported and able to fully relax your body and begin with some slow easy breaths through your nose if you're able,
If not that's okay.
Just focus in on your breath,
Allow it to slow down.
Do your best to lengthen your exhale but also just allow your breath to be.
We'll begin by focusing in on your root chakra.
This is an energy sensor at the base of your spine.
If you'd like to tune into the color,
It is typically a deep red and just start to envision this glowing ball of energy.
You can simply watch it glow,
Maybe it's spinning for you,
Maybe it's calm or maybe it's even a little chaotic at the moment.
The first thing to know is that this is your energy and that you get to be and are always in control of that energy.
So if it's calm,
Just allow it to be.
Let that feeling of calmness fill your entire body.
If it's chaotic,
You can use your breath to help slow it down and bring it back to a sense of calm or if it feels right you could even just tell it to be calm.
Knowing that you are always protected and this sense of safety and peace is always available to you and it's okay if you're not fully in it yet.
You can continue sending your breath there,
Sending your energy there or even maybe just allowing it to be for the moment.
We're in control but we also don't need to force.
Allow your body to sink into the support of whatever you are sitting or laying on and starting at your toes,
Taking your time and working your way up through your body.
Allow each point in your body to relax.
You can wiggle your toes,
You can rotate your ankles,
You can squeeze and release any of your muscles or you can just allow them to start feeling heavy.
Allowing yourself to sink even deeper into relaxation.
You can spend as much time as you need at any point in your body.
You're moving through this at your own pace and once you've gone through every point that you need to go through,
Expand your focus to your energy field,
Your aura just around the outside of your body.
We do a couple different things with our energy.
Most often we tend to give it away and then never take it back or fill it back up and we also tend to absorb energy from other people,
Places,
Situations and we hold on to it even though that energy really isn't ours to worry about.
If we are going to give away energy,
There's nothing wrong with that.
Sometimes we need to do that,
Sometimes we want to do that,
But we don't have to feel required to leave a hole in our energy.
We are allowed and maybe even required to fill that back in and it can be as simple as commanding that that energy returns to us.
Maybe it's the exact energy that we gave out to someone or something or a situation and that energy is still ours and we get to bring it back.
We don't have to feel like we're forcing it back or ripping it away.
It's just a calm return,
A reminder for that energy to return to us and other times maybe the person,
Place,
The situation that we gave our energy to needs that part of our energy more than we did and that's okay they can keep it.
So now we get to ask God,
Ask the universe,
Ask our guides,
However you want to frame it,
To fill that energy back in for us.
If you know there's a particular type of energy,
Maybe it's heart chakra energy,
Maybe it's a request for the ability to love yourself a little bit more,
Maybe it's a request specifically for peace,
Or maybe we can simply say that we don't know what we need and ask for that space to be filled up with the energy that God knows that we need,
Whatever is going to serve our highest good.
So if you haven't already started doing that as I've been talking,
Now is your time to make that request to bring that energy back to you or to simply have it refilled.
Next we need to clear out energy that is not ours.
Thoughts and problems and worries and fears and anxieties,
Sadness or anger or frustration,
Stress that isn't ours,
Is not meant for us to carry.
Many of us naturally take on other people's energies,
Other people's emotions,
And it's a good thing because it helps us to relate to one another,
To empathize with one another,
And to be able to help each other and understand each other.
But as we take these energies on to help us understand,
We need to remember to let them go once they're no longer needed.
It's best if we can turn them around,
Transmute them into something else like love or peace,
And we can still do that no matter how long we've been carrying that energy.
Or we might need to cut an energetic cord,
Especially if it's an energy that has been a constant drain on our energy,
On our peace,
On our ability to feel safe and stable and protected.
Trust your intuition.
You know best here if there's something that you need to transmute so that it not only feels different,
Feels better,
But you can also send it back out,
Perhaps return it to where it came from,
Or just simply send it out for it to be taken and absorbed by whoever needs it.
And or it could be both if you need to cut a cord.
Pay attention to where you feel this in your body.
Send your focus,
Send your energy there.
And if you need help,
Ask God,
Ask your guides,
Ask your angels to help do this with you or maybe even for you.
Trust that everything you are sending out and everything you are taking in will always be for your highest good.
We make the choice to hang on to certain energies,
But the beautiful part is that we can also make the choice to let those energies go and to change them into something better if we want.
You deserve to feel peace.
Your energy is yours alone,
But you can also make the choice to share and receive.
But always be present,
Be conscious,
Trust in who you really are,
Trust that everything will always work out for your highest good,
Trust that you will have to take action to lead yourself there,
But you are always protected.
This sense of peace is always available to you and it really can be as simple as ask and it is given,
Ask and you shall receive.
Connect with your breath,
Connect with the present moment,
Connect with your own energy,
Call in the energy that you seek,
Call back the energy that you need to call back,
Return energy that needs to be returned at any point,
At any moment,
At any time.
Check in one more time with your root chakra here.
Hopefully it is still calm or a little more calm and especially if it was chaotic in the beginning,
You're starting to see signs of that calm,
Peaceful energy returning to you.
Thank yourself for doing this work.
Thank God,
Thank the universe,
Thank your angels,
Thank your guides for helping you and always being there for you.
Take a few more easy breaths here and when you're ready,
You can start to bring your awareness back to your body,
Back to the chair you're sitting in or the bed or the floor that you're laying on,
Back to the room that you're in.
Wiggle fingers and toes and when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
