This guided meditation invites you to release old beliefs that do not serve you and to bring in new beliefs that open doors to a more enjoyable present. Often, we live our lives based on old programming that is not based on truth. Operating on negative thought auto-drive limits our life experience, stunts our spiritual growth and causes unnecessary pain. Practice this meditation to release old repetitive thoughts and behaviors that keep you from living your most abundant life.

Welcome to your meditation on bringing in new beliefs and letting go of old beliefs.

Starting with the sound of the singing bowls.

Get settled into your seat or lying on your back.

Begin with a few deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.

In through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

Taking each exhale to relax your body.

Relax your mind.

To get settled into this time,

This present moment.

Taking a moment to tune into your heart.

Visualize your heart exactly as it is today.

This place where we hold onto the love for ourselves.

Where we emanate love for ourselves and others.

See this heart energy warm and soothing.

Warming and cleansing.

And for a moment now,

Reflect back on the journaling that you've done to identify old beliefs that no longer serve you.

Perhaps you've worked in a session with me to identify these old beliefs or perhaps you've done some journaling and have noted old beliefs that you are ready to let go of.

These can be beliefs of self-judgment,

Beliefs such as,

I am not worthy.

I am not lovable.

I'm not smart.

I'm ugly.

I don't fit in.

Whatever that may be for you.

Take a moment to reflect on that old belief.

That belief that may have formed in childhood.

That has inadvertently traveled with you into this present moment.

And while you have come to realize that this belief no longer serves you,

You may have experienced some resistance to letting it go.

Perhaps you've experienced the feeling of not knowing how to let it go.

So follow along as we go through this process of letting go of an old belief and bringing in a new one.

I will use an example,

But you can replace my words with old beliefs and new beliefs that are fitting for you.

So take a moment to visualize this old belief,

This belief that isn't serving you.

That's the belief that I am not worthy.

Whatever that old belief is for you,

Take a moment to place your mind's eye upon it.

See it for what it is.

See it with love and light,

Allowing that loving heart energy to flow into this old belief.

Giving this old belief love and support.

And now imagine this old belief as water.

See this old belief in the form of water and allow this water to trickle down from wherever this belief resides in your body.

Allow it to trickle down from that place in your body.

Down,

Down,

Down your body as if you are a giant tree and the water is dripping down through the channels of your trunk.

Perhaps through the channels of your branches and leaves.

Letting the water drain and drip.

And as it flows through this tree of your body,

Allow it to lovingly move,

Lovingly loosen from your body.

As gravity pulls the water of this belief down,

Down,

Down.

Imagining the water dripping now down through the roots of you and this giant tree,

Of you as this giant tree,

Allowing this water to drip down through your root system and imagining this root system going down deep,

Deep,

Deep into the earth.

And the water is dripping down deep,

Deep through the earth and as it drips down through the earth,

The earth takes what it needs from this old belief and composes it,

Transforms it,

Allows it to create a fertile soil down deep in the earth.

And letting this old belief now drip down,

Down into the core of the earth.

This hot molten place in the center of the earth.

Does much like the heart in your body,

A warm place of transformation.

Allow the old belief to settle down into this core of the earth,

This heart center of the earth and allow this heart center to disintegrate all the pieces of this old belief that no longer serve you.

Allow it to create steam from the water that's left behind.

Steam that is useful for someone else,

Somewhere else,

But is no longer yours.

Imagine this steam warming the earth,

Purging the earth and vanishing into the places of the earth where it belongs.

No longer yours.

No longer yours.

No longer yours.

And now bring into your mind's eye a new belief to replace this old belief.

Perhaps the belief that I am love.

Whatever that new belief is for you,

Acknowledge this new belief.

Honor this new belief.

Allow this new belief to move up through your root system,

Through the roots of this giant tree that represents you.

This new belief coming up through your roots,

Up into your body,

Into your cells.

And be open to accepting this new belief as a gift.

I am love.

I am love.

I am love.

Gently repeat this mantra to yourself.

I am love.

I am love.

I am love.

And as you repeat this mantra to yourself,

Visualize the mantra seeping into your cells,

Seeping into every part of you.

Visualize your cells accepting this new belief,

Celebrating this new belief,

Bringing this new belief into your being.

I am love.

I am love.

I am love.

Begin with this mantra for as long as you like and come back to it throughout the day.

Anytime you have a sense of the old belief creeping in or any form of self-judgment,

Just notice and choose your new belief.

I am love.

I am love.

I am love.

And when this meditation feels complete to you,

Take a moment now to notice your breath once again.

Notice the quality of your breath.

Notice any stillness that may have been invited into your body with this new belief.

Send deep gratitude to your body,

Your mind and your spirit for accepting this new belief.

Now,

Take a moment to notice your fingers and toes,

Your place in the room that you're surrounded by,

Whatever environment you're in,

Begin to notice sounds,

Sensations and as you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes.
