This meditation practice is based on repetition of positive affirmations.
Please come into a comfortable seated position either on the floor or in a chair.
Sit up nice and tall,
Bringing the awareness to your breath.
Taking three deep breaths in and out,
Drawing your attention within.
Please repeat either out loud or inside your mind the following positive affirmations.
Take time to repeat them three times each.
I am here in the present moment.
I am relaxed and calm.
I have a healthy,
Strong,
And resilient body.
I have a powerful mind.
My heart is full of love and compassion.
I accept myself as I am,
For I am unique.
I have the courage to make changes that I need.
I accept that which is out of my control with understanding.
I resolve to continue working on myself when the going gets tough.
I am grateful for all my teachers,
Guides,
And friends.
I am relaxed and calm.
I am here in the present moment.
