Thank you for being here with me today.
Today's meditation is going to help us connect with that fiery little magical spirit that lives inside our heart,
That lives inside our body.
That's the part of us that we don't often tune into.
That little soulful being that carries all our wisdom and intuition.
The one that's always trying to communicate with us.
We've often tuned out.
Just as we begin,
I want you to know that it's okay that you've tuned this out.
Our journey here on earth is all about reconnecting with that part of us.
So of course,
At some point we have to disconnect from it in order to learn how to listen to it again.
So I want you to find a comfortable seated position or lie down.
Either one is fine as long as you are comfortable.
When you're ready,
Close your eyes.
Then we'll take a few slow deep breaths together.
Our breath is our access point to that space within us that knows all the answers.
So we'll take a slow deep breath in through the nose,
Filling up your lungs and your belly.
And we'll exhale slowly.
We'll take two more deep breaths like that.
And I want you to keep breathing just a natural rhythm.
And I want you to notice,
Just slowly notice any sort of sensations in your heart space,
In your chest,
In your belly.
You might be gurgling from a meal you had earlier.
You might have a little anxiety,
Fluttery feelings in your chest.
Whatever's going on is fine.
We'll just meet it as it is with a simple,
Oh,
Hi there.
I hear you.
I feel you.
I want you to imagine yourself taking a seat in your heart space.
That's the center area of your chest.
You know,
When you're really nervous and you can feel your heart racing,
I want you to go sit there,
Envision you as you are now sitting there.
Take a couple breaths here in this space.
Just feeling what it feels like to be here now,
Still within ourselves.
Now,
I want you to envision the little version of you,
The small,
Little,
Fiery,
Beautiful child that you once were,
That you still are.
I want you to envision that little person coming and taking a seat in front of you.
Just breathe into this space,
You and them sitting alone together in shared,
Divine space.
Breathe that in.
It might have been a long time since you've reconducted like this,
Or maybe you regularly visit the we one that lives inside of you.
Either way,
Today I want you just to say hi and ask if there's anything that you need to know.
Just sit here for a few moments and be with whatever comes up for you.
Always notice your breath and your breathing into this space together with you and the little person inside you.
I want you to notice what it's like to be here and quiet in stillness with a little version of you,
That fiery one who's never left you.
I want you to meet them with compassion,
With love,
With forgiveness.
I want you to find within you any sort of message that is coming up that needs to be shared with that little person.
I want you to share it now.
You can say it out loud or repeat it in silence in your head.
Either way is fine.
You're not asking for anything in return.
You're simply releasing and allowing this energy to move through you.
You're doing a great job here.
We're not always used to reconnecting with this part of ourselves,
But this part of ourselves is always communicating with us.
We're just learning to hear its language,
To know how it communicates with us.
As you're sitting there inside your chest,
I want you to take another breath and whisper,
I love you.
I'm never going to leave you.
We're going to light this earth up together because that's what we're here for.
All we need to do to do that is just be ourself.
Just be here now.
Let's let out a big sigh.
One more time,
Just going to release some of that energy,
Just wants to move through you.
Want you just to take note any sort of sensations in your body right now.
Wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes.
Come back to that space in your heart.
Envision yourself giving the little you a hug,
But it's not a hug goodbye.
It's a hug of remembrance.
You are together.
You are one.
I want you to come back to your breath,
Just taking two deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth,
Filling your belly.
Just know that you can always come back to this space.
Always come back to your heart.
Always come back to your breath.
When you are ready,
Only when you are ready,
You can open your eyes.
