I want you to remember something.
You are looking at your life from the inside.
You are the one that sees every doubt and every hesitation,
Mistake,
Unfinished project,
Every insecurity.
And you also see the parts of your life that aren't working.
You see the things that feel messy,
Uncertain and painful,
Even overwhelming.
And yes,
Sometimes those things are very real.
Sometimes life is genuinely really hard.
Sometimes your more than most people see.
Other people don't have access to all of that.
Would you believe it or not?
They don't see it.
All they see is your kindness and your humor.
They see your patience and your presence.
They see your intelligence and they see the way that you make them feel.
You judge yourself by everything happening inside your head,
While other people experience a different version of you.
They see the version of you in the outside world,
The one showing up externally.
And that version of you has helped people.
It's even changed people's lives,
Supported people,
Inspired people,
Probably way more than you realize.
This isn't about pretending everything's okay when it isn't.
And it's not about denying your struggles.
It's about recognising that your struggles are not the whole story.
You don't need to become somebody else to be worthy of respect.
You don't need to earn the right to appreciate yourself.
You don't need to wait until you've fixed every flaw because acknowledging what's happening is already good enough.
Even if life feels chaotic right now,
There are still qualities in you that matter.
There are still strengths you've developed through everything that you've survived.
There are still parts of you that deserve recognition.
You are probably giving yourself way less credit than you actually deserve.
You have become so familiar with your own resilience that you've mistaken it for something ordinary.
Take a moment to let all that land.
You are absolutely incredible.
You light up the world.
You light up other people's lives.
And so on behalf of all of those people in your life that you have touched with love and kindness,
I say thank you.
Thank you.
Don't you dare quit.
Don't you dare stop.
Keep shining your light.
Because the world needs you.
